Great picture Karaoke Karl and I don't see one gray hair (you were talking about that some where else). I bet the cruise was fabulous except for those two, um, unfortunate incidents. I'll leave those for you to tell in your story in the Travel Thread.

Turkey gone and done me good. I'm in my family's summer house in the southern region of Turkey before taking a permanent position in southern France next month. After months of feeling like crap, it's amazing what being with my best friend and surrounded by old friends has done to my mental and emotional state. I feel good.

i also never got around to sharing any pics on here from [mention]Spacedaisy[/mention]'s visit to me, which some of you probably saw on Facebook. it was some of the best weeks ever, and i'm glad i spent my last month in Sweden (for the near future) with Annie.

this photo is titled "the search for dunia's neck". yes, i look like i've lost my neck in this one ^ but annie looks amazing so whatever.

and yes, it was that cold. in october. shut up, annie. [see] (queue annie making a sassy quip about how she was constantly too warm in sweden after i made her pack her heaviest clothes because it was the warmest sept/oct in sweden ever)

on her second day in sweden, i woke up to a shaved eyebrow. thanks for the prank, annie. it sure was a good one. ha ha ha.

we did some artsy things like go to some cool museums and pretend we were fancy art critics. it was extremely pretentious and awesome and i can't wait to do it again in Paris.

we also did a lot of nature watching, while planning our next public pretentious appearance. for real tho, this spot here is where we had a real heart-to-heart and decided to move in together and adopt a baby from Africa and be very progressive and cool. tears and laughs. <3

annie has the most contagious laugh ever. she laughed at me a lot, and i would end up unknowingly laughing at myself. this is one example where annie was cracking up laughing at me. also boyyyyyy look at the color of your hair.

ah man, the fun we had trying on glasses everywhere. the search for annie's new pair of glasses continues, but this was my favorite pair. you're welcome btw annie (for not posting that other pic of you with that awkward smile of yours
