Wish I could claim that I knew it, but truth be told I was following a couple people who I felt fairly certain knew what they were talking about. My gut has been shit.

It never occurred to you to question why I barely fought back? Or why I was so sure LC was trying to be lynched?

You did me a solid, the cylons won't forget how you helped them :noble:

Well, this game isn't broken and I'm sure Admiral Goldama has something in stock for us civs.

Maybe a new law which declares John Cavil is lynchable :)

Golden has not made a host post mentioning anything about this "unlynchable" status that you've supposedly been awarded.

The fact that you mentioned this in thread makes this an act of infodumping.

If you haven't been punished for this, and if it is in fact infodumping, then you've pooped.

But, if it is legal for you to post such an information in this thread, I expect Admiral Goldama to address us regarding this situation.

Nah. There was a change, but not the one you think. And I'm not paying attention to them because they aren't offering anything of substance. Their accusations are surface level or reaching or just made up and I can't defend against something that doesn't exist other than to say it doesn't exist. My record speaks for itself. Therefore, I dismiss all else.

I may well suck, but this doesn't help me much. I'll do the obligatory team mate analyses though via S~V~S's posts and see where you end up. I don't know if I've ever done these before with the evil-doer still alive. That should be fun.

Oh, hi Ruth.

Dammit, from Day One I felt you had baddie-style claws on me. Shame I let you off afterwards and was blinded by your nutella total bus move.

I'd make a joke about JJJ and Silverwolf's strong cred for hunting nutella being off the table now, but I've long stopped sounding reasonable.

What I take from Cavil's resurrection and claim of immortality is that he's probably unlynchable until all the other players aligned with him are.

Number 1

I suggest we ignore Cavil/SVS for the time and lynch the other baddies, I'm thinking the rest of her team needs to be dead before we can lynch her again? Some sort of mechanic like that. OR she will be piggybacking off of another player and tied to them. This is a long shot though.

I need to think things over in light of this lynch, Epi could've bussed his teammate but the Drum vote was just terribly, if I hadn't have voted I probably would've voted elsewhere. Not on SVS since I didn't think she was scummy, but on Wilgy. I'd say Polo is less likely to be mafia, but it isn't impossibly as is Daisy.

If Epi is mafia then the wagononmics don't matter if he isn't then I think some portions of it are more telling. I don't think Wilgy/Epi are cleared in any way from this lynch, nor is anyone on the Epi wagon. I don't think Nero's vote is that odd since he did say he was busy and I believe that, but Drum's lynching for information and still saying all cylons are bad is scummy. Espaiclly since he earlier said they weren't all bad
.
So I think we should lynch Epi for information about this lynch. :P

We need to know how unlynchable is Cavil/S~V~S.

If she is in fact unlynchable, does this mean that if she's the most voted then the second most voted player gets lynched? Or does this mean that if S~V~S is the most voted player, no lynch will happen on that day?

Just in case, I believe we should lynch the confirmed Cylons.

Epignosis has been acting very mafioso since I started accusing S~V~S of being Cavil. ObscureAllure is an option too, and I don't discard Wilgy.

I don't think Cavil's claim of being unlynchable is the same as the effects of the Immunity Act. It could mean Cavil will simply resurrect over and over again and our lynches will basically get wasted. I don't find this "last mafioso to die" mechanics, if true, that uncommon. I don't remember if the mechanics are accurate, but basically we're talking, idk, Apocalypse from X-Men Mafia? (Ironically, SVS played that part as well)

Also since Cavil resurrected, which has not happened since Epignosis' lynch and we considered it to be implausible, once the sortie mission conclude, let me check if there's not something we're supposed to "trigger", just like back on Day Two.

Those other posts, they were posts 1-9, sorry Mr Prez.

And yes, Rabbit, SVS is gone never to return to this thread. However, I, John, am in fact here, amongst you, alive.

Any poor misguided human loving cylons out there, just an FYI, I have no quarrel with you. I have no intention of harming any of you. If you wish to harm me, that is your perogative. If any of you are interested in private discussions, that may be arranged. I am always interested in meeting new cylons :)

Maybe we can form a lasting relationship.

Doesn't really prove anything, other than worrying about Cavil is pointless. SVS is dead, she's now likely to fuck with us and maybe she can vote. I got odds on Cavil not being on the polls, ever. Thus unlynchable. We have to find the other baddies and lynch them to win.

Those roles are fun. I had them in a number of games in the past.

Goodness gracious, look who's evoking lore now! I had the same idea, and was going to post Hub just in case.
Just don't even go there. My analogy was clear... if faulty, as fraking always, given what rabbit8 has pointed out.

Rabbit what do you mean? How does this prove anything?
Proves Epi is here with his role, SVS is not.

Think I get what you're saying. I once was lynched, only to actually remain in the game, except I was stripped of voting priviledges and a place in the poll. While not entirely sure how "John Cavil resurrecting" (I didn't exactly resurrect, I just stayed a corpse) would not amount to anything in terms of in-game presence and importance, I understand your definition of lynchable.

===

Needless to say, but don't listen to a fraking word this Cylon freak has to say. He is gifted with words, no doubt - and that goes for the player herself (just check Chapter of Resurrected Ruth in Biblical, to notice how amazingly she can try to work her charms, even when there's next to zero hope of her persuading anybody) - but that's all he can do anymore. And don't let the wagon open for him to manipulate it, in case he will still be able to vote. Exterminate his team.

===

This took quite a while to think off (which is quite the understatement, given what I've focused on yesterDay), but what are the chances of Boomer having been a sort of seemer - not in terms of showing up as someone else, but showing up as town?

One reason that keeps nagging me is the role of Cally. Why would Cally be designed to have a shot at killing Boomer, if Boomer were civilian? Town praying on town makes no sense. Mind you, we're not talking some basic ninja civ skills, with which a civilian can either hit the jackpot and eliminate mafia or frak up and deplete the civ ranks... we're talking a specific, revengeful (according to the l-word) bullet for one character only. It doesn't matter that Cally never reached Boomer (maybe she hasn't even lived enough to achieve that), it matters that she was destined to, from the design.

Another aspect is that Boomer's alignment flip being seemer-ish would have allowed for Glorfindel to play out his "truthful / never lying" facade. In a strange way, if he knew he'd flip town, he didn't need to feel conflicted that he's lying to us about being genuine and town and fighting for the good cause (...even if was lying), because he would know that, upon showing up as town, our minds would get fried (*raises hand*) and we'd treat his legacy as genuine.

Besides, if Glorfindel was by any stretch of the imagination Cavil-aligned, I have no doubt that SVS mentored him in how to defend to perfection.

Please comment.

Awake for now. Glad we found Cavil. Poo on more resurrection.

I'm on some light pain meds, FYI. I had outpatient surgery this morning, so I may not be around much today while I recuperate . Ricochet can confirm that I am telling the truth because it's the same outpatient surgery I was supposed to have during his heist game but the doc nixed the procedure when I nearly passed out from local anesthetic shot because mama raised a wimp and G-Man doesn't do needles well. Am I rambling? Might be. Focker.... out!

Rico, I don't know what to say. I think this is brilliant, and rings true to me. In the show, if there was any character who "seemed" good but wasn't, it was Boomer. None of the other cylons were moles in quite the same way. It explains so much that has been bothering me since the Boomer flip.

I agree with Sig (at least in regards to where are attention should be). I've never been fond of using lynches with unknown repercussions. Let's scumhunt until we are in a position where lynching cavil again is safe.

Exam entering the final phases...Almost. I hate physics so much

I don't want to miss my night action, so who do you guys think would be a good person to send off to the brig? Assuming my power still works, but it's worth a shot.

And to explain my statement before that literally all of you misunderstood: I meant that I believe 2 of the f5 are aligned with Cavil and not independent. Not all of us, obviously. I took it as being implicit in the statement but I'm sorry if I wasn't clear about it.

And we actually got Cavil which is great! I still think Epignosis is bad though.

Do you think Cavil will be allowed to vote?

Regardless, I think Nero should be lynched on grounds that he's my partner, your partner, Enrique's partner, the Joker, the Riddler, the Gingerbread Man, and Toto.

Epignosis has been acting very mafioso since I started accusing S~V~S of being Cavil. ObscureAllure is an option too, and I don't discard Wilgy.

You think confirmed colons should be lynched first but you put me before Wigly?! Wtf?! Since when am I confirmed anything? Wigly is a CONFIRMED CYLON with a higher chance of being bad than good based on statistics. I have evidence showing I'm good and I'm not a confirmed Cylon so I have a higher chance of showing up civvie.... But me before him. Riiiiiiiight. And you wonder why I said I think you and SVS are bad? I think you set up her getting lynched on purpose and you're saving Wigly now.

Wasting post #9 on this reply...

What makes you think I said you were a confirmed Cylon and that I put you higher than Wilgy in my lynch priority?

I was digressing on the people I thought should be lynched because you have been acting rather weirdly since I began my campaign for S~V~S's banishment.

One of the things that is weirding me out the most is that you said that if S~V~S turned out to be mafia, then I'd have to be mafia too. This is utter bull.

I'd like to take this opportunity to ask you who do you think we should lynch tomorrow.

So Say We All? I don't think there was one, but just in case.

RIH SVS. Oh wait, you're still around. Well hi then! I feel rather embarrassed, I thought you were the President based on the Haiku law (cuz if I remember, you had a haiku thing in GoC right?). Lol. Was Marmot Roslin then cuz of the Marmot Protection Act? Anyway, it's weird talking to the most evil character like we're chums, but just wanted to say hi! Death to you, tho!!

Lol. You know I try!

On the real, tho, weekends are always the busiest for me (and then I also always work mondays) so I didn't have a lot of time for my vote. I see you were the clincher vote against SVS, but since she survived, you could still be her partner who knew she'd survive. I'm still about 3 pages behind so not sure how she even gets so many votes, but anyway...

I do apologize tho. I still think you could be bad but I didn't really give it much thought before voting the other day. Just "oh snap Boomer is good then what does this mean in regards to Epi???" Tbh, I still think it's possible something was "reversed" and perhaps Glorfy is really Athena. I'll have to look up his posts later, but I recall Glorfy really liking all of my posts about lore at the beginning of the game, and in some of those, I was talking about how Boomer was bad and Athena was good so why would a GOOD Boomer Glorfy like my posts about the lore???

Anyway, this is post 1. Still catching up, have to leave in about 30 min, but then I'll be back with more thoughts. I'm sure you're all psyched.

Also, what's your strongest townread atm? One name, please.
No I am not 100% sure; it is totally based on thread & impressions, not on anything i, or the thread, was told by the host.

Based on thread and on things she said (and on things other people said) Silver was my strongest town read. INH has not done anything to actively keep that up, but he has played a cautious game that I would expect MOST people to play were they a strong town role.
This has not changed. Definitely Silver/INH.

@S~V~S

I think you've already defended yourself enough that people's perspectives of you aren't likely to change much if you do more of it. I'm much more interested in what your reads are and who you want to lynch. Gimme the goods.
Yeah, I said last post that I would put that all in one post, I did not forget it. I will put in my full civ reads first, I want to read back a bit, I think I must be trusting people I should not. I am not sure what to think of the Kinda Final Four, Jules was Hot Dog, and Nero was lynched, so they were civ to start, but may have come back from the Pet Sematary seems to be the thought? Pre death the only one I felt less than civ about was Daisy. I also felt Faraday was bad, but felt MUCH better about Dex. But if we are to rejudge them, I don't have enough basis for comparision.

So here is a partial, I will finish it up after work. Civ

I am not sure about the rest of the names on the list. I feel MOST sure about INH, JJJ & Matt. A couple of them I still feel good vibes about overall, but not quite as sure. A few of the unrated names I used to feel better about than I do now.

I will qualify the rest later, I want to do some reading; it is easier for me to read at work than post. I don't think both G Man & Drum are civ; I think it is one or the other there. So for now I have them both in not sure. I have no idea where I want to vote; worrying about defending (Even though you say I have defended enough, I don't feel as strongly about that as you do :p ) plus these people coming back plus Glorfindel coming up civ and the pall that casts on lore leads me to think we need to reconsider across the board. That is why Wilgy came off "civ" to "not sure". So still not sure where I want to vote. I won't be voting for any of the green names today. I doubt I will be voting for INH or you ever.

Sorry if I am "robotic & emotionless" but I am trying very hard not to be a hypocrite. It is no fun when someone you like & respect calls you a hypocrite more than once in the same discussion, and when they are right. So I need to revise my behavior, and I am sorry if you do not like how it affects my game, but it is what it is :shrug2:
S~V~S doubts she would vote for INH or 3J ever.

Still have to catch up on those last three pages, but I just wanted to spit ball and throw this out there...

Possibility - Glorfy was a seemer role who could appear as town aligned even if not.

Thoughts? Or are we just assuming Glorfy is good? If we assume Glorfy is good, then I once again plead for a civ protector out there to protect siggy boy tonight. Thanks.
