Can we just declare Illinois the winner? I'm not opposed to Loveless sinking and INH doesn't seem opposed to Belle Mouse sinking either, so...

Just NMH. Although I'm really disappointed in The Avalanches as a whole, too.

I also kinda love The Queen is Dead, although I don't think it really belongs on this list, nor had hopes for it to last. Is Zebra high or sumthin'?

Depending on my mood and the hour of the day, I either love or utterly despise Morrissey, so it was always going to be a target for me.

I really like Since I Left You from the Avalanches, but Wildflower was a big flop IMO. Their sound can really only work for one album before it just gets gimmicky.

Frankly, I'm just surprised that a Belle & Sebastian album got third. I figured this was not the venue for them.

Illinois is a great album, although I do personally prefer Carrie & Lowell for ol' Subaru.

I guess I need to write a Sufjan Stevens Mafia now. At least there's a natural Serial Killer role already in John Wayne Gacy Jr, and I can just proceed from there.

I'll also probably write Neutral Milk Hotel Mafia just to spite all of you soulless monsters out there.

Didn't say Morrissey, I said just that one album.
Ech, I took the Wildflower, then Since I Left You route and the effect is about the same. Some songs are good, on both records, but I just can't sit through one whole hour of this wild mishmashing.

I barely skimmed through B&E, in general, although when in London, I did pick a B&E at the Barbican album and it sounded pretty damn neat.

I can only stay with Sufjan's States albums. Age of Adz was ridiculous and C&L is too syrup to my ears. A Sufjan Mafia would be nice and complex and hard to craft.

An NHM Mafia would make me, for once, want to die as early on as the first Day or Night. :p

That's a great next theme, because I don't care about it, so I'll be out of your way.

I would do this, but I think we could come up with more cheeses. Romano and locatelli for instance.

It's missing all my favorite British cheeses. Red Leicester, Wensleydale, Double Gloucester, Sage Derby, Shropshire Blue, Abbot's Gold, Red Dragon, Cotswold...

I was going to suggest an emilination game based on classic horror short stories, but cheeses would be fun too.
