Don't know who to vote. I just want the person to have it to use just as a tool for breaking lynch polls tie, and announce it as such. . We could benefit from having a normal day instead of one dude having all the power.

To be fair I think yesterday was pretty normal. Sprityo got 5 votes and I didn't accidentally set the whole world on fire.

I was gonna endorse you tho

Oh yeah not saying you went off on your own lol. It's just that I think without it being clearly said, the discussions and lynch wagons won't be 100% normal. There is always that feeling that only one person hold all the power and has the final say. Stating that the lynch poll will decide who gets burned might be a good thing and get more real wagons and discussions.

The flamethrower thing will be way more important in the endgame.

Right now... it's mostly a technicality

Say what you mean and mean what you say.

The way you are playing and gaining the trust of others makes me squeemish. I am afraid you are tricking us all and it isn't even halloween yet.

INH never cares enough about a game to post as much as he has this game.

By process of elimination and the ideas above, you and INH are my top suspects.

I did say what I meant, you just took 3 posts to move past "Baddies should be lynched".

What do you mean "the way I am playing"? What went into your "process of elimination"..

I realize I'm reaching here, but I'm going on what I have. What I know of INH and playing mafia is that he usually doesn't care so much to make cases or make more on-topic than off-topic posts as he has this game. If INH is that serious at looking civ, it makes me wonder.

I strongly suspect we’re being bamboozled by a consensus townread. They were the target on N1, and they are bad. DH or Speed or Jack.

Looking at the two nightkills so far ... they don’t make much sense to me. Poutanko was new and Nova had not done anything to become a top townleader. It’s almost as if the killers are choosing targets with the goal of finding their teammates? Which begs the question as to why a player like Jack, Speed or DH haven’t been targeted yet. Unless they have.

Gonna put together a current read list here in a second. Just let me shake off my uncontrollable suffering at not being able to play RDR2

I voted for you.
Why? I'm at the bottom of your rainbow list and you're aware I haven't read the whole game.

Wouldn't I be a terrible person to give a flamethrower to?

Spoiler: show
Colin -
I dunno if this read list is a joke or not since it lists everyone as "Good" technically, but if its not, voting to give the flamethrower to Eloh (a middle read of his) over someone higher on the list is noteworthy. As is his post here Parroting Eloh's claim/theory that a "consensus" townread is fooling the thread. He names me, Speed and Jack as the possibles, but as Speed has pointed out, he and Jack aren't really "consensus" town-reads, if town-reads at all, and he and Jack haven't really pushed anything or tried to fool anyone. He also originally posited that the non-kill was an inactive.

His "who would you kill" exercise is also something to look at. He said he'd hold off on answering and didn't.

I've never really felt great about town-reading Colin and his recent stuff hasn't nudged me out of that mentality.

DDL -
Voted to give Quin the flamethrower, townreading Quin based on his recent uptick in activity it looks like. He has either town-read or "un-readable" status on most players, with Sprityo sitting at "too-scummy-to-be-scum" status and being the closest thing DDL has to a suspect ATM. Stepping on eggshells, me no like.

Eloh -
At the risk of sounding like an asshole, I think Eloh's most recent cases (Me and INH) hold no water. She was very vague about her suspicion of me ("how you're playing. POE") which felt like she was just using buzzwords to make it seem more than it was. "Process of elimination" in particular. Like, Good luck using POE in this set up lol. And the INH thing falls apart at close inspection. She says she didn't expect him to be this active (The only reason he's not the least active poster is because Wilgy signed up, told himself not to forget to play this game, and then I guess got invited to travel through Space and Time with the Doctor) Then she called out the "content" of his posts, and said here that INH is "serious at looking civ" which I highlighted earlier but will comment on now. Why does he have to be trying to "look" civ? Can't he just be...civ? Eloh's framing of the question there might have let slip the mask a bit.

INH -
Funnily enough since his decent case on Colin which was posted last Sunday, INH hasn't really done much "content"-wise. Sticking to his guns RE: Colin, asking for more from TH and questioning Chuck on his Quin townread. I don't think INH is bad at this point. Though if Eloh's criticism of his game starts to color his activity/presence, I'll revisit a read on him.

Jack -
A moot point for today but I'm still null on Jack, which isn't great 4 Days into a game I guess, but not much I can do about it for now. We'll see how he handles the spotlight, if he puts out any reads, gives any directions, goes with the flow, etc.

Quin -
Moderate uptick in activity. Still not feeling great about his early game. Wanna see him put some beef in the broth before I move the needle out of the red on this boi. He's being town-read by people though which I will consider, but I can't shake what I can't shake. Ehm.

Chuck -
Again rough that there's not much to update on this read but them's the brakes. Wish he'd expand on his "colorless rainbow". Moving on.

TH: -
Reading back it seems like he was dead-set on Sprityo for a long time there whilst he had the Sizzler. Could be because nobody gave him anything else to work with, but it could be he just saw Sprityo as an easy out and didn't want to look at anyone else, whether he was asked/shown or not. Shifting TH slightly into the red for D3.
I've been considering for a hot minute how in-thread behavior would shift or change or make itself evidence if/once infected targeted each other and from my reads I think I see two likely pairs

- DDL/Quin
- Colin/Eloh

DDL has been soft-as-a-baby-bottom defending/townreading Quin for a hot minute. And Colin's lockstep with Eloh's "we been fooled" play skews a bit when you look at his read list there.

I'm probably not gonna burn Colin. Generally getting a townie vibe there. Like he's trying for sure.

My first couple pages gave me a strong townread on Quin but he hasn't been as present lately.

There's only 10 of us. What's balanced? 3 or 4 scum? This is a stupid question for Day 4 but....does the mafia win when they get parity? Or when they eliminate the civies? That is, can the mafia win by having 4 townies and 4 scum if they don't know who the other scum players are?

1. You said you knew what to do with it.
2. If I had colored that rainbow, you'd have been yellow. Only the two under you are scumreads of mine at the moment, which is a problem of its own.
3. If I read you as scum, I might consider giving you the flamethrower anyway. Could learn a lot about who you are and who your teammates might be by the way you handle it. (all things considered, scum are as blind as we are in some cases. Sometimes not. Either way it would be interesting to see how they handle the firecannon)

linkis I will read them
