Anyway, great games all around. Thanks for being a good sport Jay and pouring your heart into it yet again. Thanks Golden for killing Epignosis (that was yuuge). Sorry Quin for wrongly lynching you twice in this game. I think this is our first game together, so I'll keep this in mind for the future.
Thanks for the game G-Man. I do think this game was a tough one for the civilians, bu we certainly could have done it, and I think we performed better than the average group of players would have done.
We've played together like 5 times

Re: RED vs. BLUE: Day 4
Golden's coming from an angle that suggests that he has information. I don't think he does, because he already questioned the possibility that I had information, but he's definitely playing that card. At the most I'm 'iffy' about reading him as the SK, because there's the potential in the back of my mind that maybe this is just Golden 2.0's way to get people to back off his top town read.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:I'd like to hear what you guys think of what I said about Golden and INH. Re: RED vs. BLUE: Day 4
An ill-informed 'probably not' for Sloonei as the SK. He's been a consistent town read for me for some time. He's well invested in solving the game despite how busy he is, where I feel like a typical indie would coast a bit in that situation.Golden wrote:No.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:The fact that INH has said nothing all day makes me think he's less likely to be a SK desperate for survival.
Is that dumb? Am I dumb?
After I saw epi flip I thought sloonei was my most likely vote today, but the stuff sloonei has written on MM is persuasive. Quin seems least likely of the three to be SK (to me).
The difficult thing for me is sloonei's behaviour is like a guy who got town cred early then vanished into the shadows to not get NKed but also not take suspicion. I know it could be only rl stuff, but it also lines up. Now that we are only SK hunting, sloonei is back to take the lead.
On the other hand, sloonei feels genuine, and the stuff on MM makes sense. But, if sloonei is the sk, then of course it's to his advantage to find a case on someone else that looks solid fast.
And I know I don't have that much more time genuinely around to decide this.
Jay, quin, thoughts on sloonei as sk?

I don't think that Donald Trump is the serial killer, based on the whole context of the lynch posts. It seems to me that neither he or Hilary Clinton are roles, they're just leading the charge and we're their subordinates.
Ted Cruz would make sense to be the SK, just because of memes.

Re: RED vs. BLUE: Day 4
For the most part my suspicion is based on his vote history, which is where I think you're misinterpreting me a little. You believe his votes are town-indicative, what I've been arguing with you isn't that his votes aren't town-indicative, but that's they're scum indicative. I know I have a habit of being indirect with my conclusions, but I think all through day 3, and even in parts of Day 2 I've had this train of thought.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:I'd like to hear more, Quin. I know we've talked about MM a lot already, but we're here and we have 1.5 days to sort it out. I think I am clear on why you disagree with the reasons I have provided to town read him. We're good there.Quin wrote:No, but my reason for thinking that it's you is the strongest.
What I want to know more about is why you read him as scum rather than merely as less town.
I think Day 1 was an attempt to gain civ cred by sacrificing his first teammate (and while you have said that you disagreed with the thinking that his lynch was inevitable - I disagree in this specific scenario), and I think his Day 2 vote was weak, because there was no cause for him to put a pressure vote on you, and his 'I think I'm coming around' excuse to vote for me was uninspiring. I will grant him that part of the latter involved the possibility of you and him being teammates - but the fact that I can confidently say that you're not doesn't completely make this suspicion redundant. We've talked about Day 3 already, but I do think reywaS was a prime bus candidate, and I think it's especially likely to have happened because the vote was redirected outside of the meat which had been developed during the previous few phases.

Re: RED vs. BLUE: Day 4
I initially thought it was a self-preservation vote, but the order of how the votes came in tells me that's not the case. I'll read into his actual posts a bit later but I need to start digging into a report.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:How do you feel about his Day 1 vote?Quin wrote:It means that his Day 2 'Lynch Jay, if town, lynch Quin' contingency is the first thing that comes to mind when I think about him, and it does not sit well with me at all.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:What does that mean?Quin wrote:He is not at the top of my rainbow list.

Re: RED vs. BLUE: Day 4
I've been through all of this with you already, so I don't know what else you want me to say. It was a last minute vote weakly justified by Sloonei's goading which painted him as an inevitable lynch. I'm not sure why you've tried to credit him for this over and over, because it's not sticking.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:I just want to ensure I fully understand where your head is at. Marmot.Golden wrote:On day one, the wagon wasn't a tie with one person, who had the ability to decide which way it went, sitting off the wagon. Marmot and Quin seem like the likely suspects, to me. But of those two, Quin seems the most suspicious. He was off the wagon yesterday, and keeps pushing marmot./
So, an early vote on quin for me.
2) Was off the wagon yesterday because I was pushing marmot (don't separate the two) - who is also your supposed second choice. Not sure how x = y here.
Next!
I disagree with the latter. The two are separate, even if they are linked. When town, you can push someone all day long, but if you aren't getting them lynched you have the ability to vote for someone else. Pushing for someone all day is a common excuse for someone to sit off an irrelevant wagon and act as though the two are the same.
If you couldn't vote for marmot yesterday, who would you have voted for?
