Re: Bike [END]
Congratulations guys.
I'm sorry i left the game but i can't play a game with open nights. With my work schedule, i catch up and make my analysis reads during the night phases, but open nights make it impossible for me!
I was right suspecting Epignosis and long con eh? Long Con made me hesitate though, good job. =)

I will not read anything that happened during Day 1 then but I will say this.
I deserve no credit for voting on Made. I did it for just two reasons:
1) Self-Preservation
2) And I sheeped tutuu whom I town read.
To say that I voted Made thanks to my own due process would be a lie.

Re: Bike [Day 1]
I did believe you were a wolf cause you agreed on making stuff up as not being wolf alignemnt, but you also made me realize that fishing for reactions is making shit up proving myself wrong. Town do make shit up to generate leads and push, what separates me from wolves is the intention behind it.Long Con wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 2:49 pmYou said town doesn't make things up to test reactions, so I made something up to test your reaction.Guillotine wrote: ↑Mon Jan 11, 2021 2:46 pmWhat point were you proving again? I was fishing for reactions.
I was asking because my vote on you was *made up*. I don't actually have any notion that wolves do semantic arguments more, nor do I think you were overly semantic, not that it matters. I was proving a point.
Now, if I were off the list, do you still think there's a wolf on it?
As for your question. I just said I was fishing for reactions, do you really expect an answer to that question after I stated that?
If you believe there's a wolf on your list based on my fourth vote, do you still think that without my vote? If you do, then, like, that's something, that's progression. Also, you have some reactions to my accusation that everyone can analyze. I think that's useful, and it's what Epi was getting at. Doing something do spur thread productiveness even if it's not what you really think. "Made up".
So yah, I stand corrcted.
How do I unvote here?

yin is their name, not their pronouns (which are they/them). if we are dissociating it just means we are depersonalised/derealised to the extent that there cannot be a complete understanding of who it is that is in control of the body, but it does not mean there cannot be a partial one i.e. i know i'm not yin but that is not enough to know who i am.
and each of us are more than different personalities. the best example i think of offhand is that one of us named eleora has BPD, and her personality is fluid and unstable as a result, but her thoughts, hopes, dreams and hobbies among many other things are hers alone, they are not things that can be confined to a personality, they are a part of her identity. the name of the diagnosis was changed from multiple personality disorder to 'dissociative identity disorder' to reflect as much.
memories being shared or not isn't something any of us can predict or understand, i feel? but i did not know yin made that post until i read the thread to that point and memory gaps like that are something i'd expect to be a common occurrence in this format. we are using notes as a means of communication to facilitate understanding in place of memories, but that is something that is a regular part of our lives, it is not exclusive to this game.
Do yin always use advanced language to materialize their thoughts?

As town you never give up on being towncore, if we wanna win this we need to have a good idea of who is town. Unreadable opposes that.
I dont believe that this mindset will be resourceful or fruitful for u
Most people have established the way they wanna play, u will have a very hard time convincing someone to change their playstyle, and applying general blanket tells on ppl will not result in accuracy imo
Like yes, sometimes u do apply general stuff and thats normal gameplay but u gotta think of the context of the specific person and u gotta consider that every person has their own idea of proper mafia gameplay which is often completely unique from anyone else's!

Re: Bike [Day 1]
Who is the "town" in question Tutu? how do you know the player is town? Did you get a N0 check or something?Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 10:56 pmTutu, I literally don't have one single scum read. I'm not tunnelling anyone. If I'm tunnelling someone, I will give you a written notice, you can be sure of it. Me in champs finals on Phighter. That was me tunnelling. I'm trying to figure out your alignment because I'm used to instantly think you're town, and in this game I didn't have that feeling.

This is kind of what I mean with using "general scum tells" that are meant to apply to everyone. I don't know, it's not my thing. But it's ok if it works for you.Guillotine wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 1:20 pmOk i understand. Butting in to answer questions meant for others is generally a scum tell, be careful.
I don't tend to be careful. =p![]()
but one step further, policy scum tells are really only useful in context- unless you're mafia in which case it's always useful

Re: Bike [Day 1]
Hi guys. I told Seanzie yesterday that I would elaborate on my suspicions but I decided I will not. Reason is because I can't explain them with words, I just remember how the players felt as a whole after I interacted with them, so I'm gonna wait before providing solid reads that wolves can use to determine whether or not I'm a NK candidate.

Re: Bike [Day 0]
My point is just because you were the first player to stuck your nose to create content it does not mean you can't be mafia.tutuu wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:27 pmNothing in this post makes sense to me. If you want me to respond explain it with easier to parse words. What is your point?Guillotine wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:22 pmI have for a very long time too. In my experience Mafia's WIFOM during day 1 is disregarded as joking around because it would be too obvious and nothing is ever too obvious, except most of the times it is. Chances of catching scum during D1 are higher than any other day, if players thought that if it looks like WIFOM is because maybe it is.tutuu wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:16 pmI don't know. Re: Bike [Day 0]
Because i said that i'm suspicious of people easily townreading me on D1, you read this and still proceeded to easily townread me. Why would you do so if you just saw my reluctance towards that behavior? Maybe because you are not afraid to be scum read by me as a result thus you must be town. Too WIFOM to be WIFOM, except maybe it is WIFOM.Master Radishes wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:25 pmI don't even know which part of my post is supposed to be reverse psychology.Guillotine wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 1:01 pmI hosted a game where you were scum very recently. It's pretty normal for a lot of players, myself included. They even tend to be good. =pGuillotine wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 11:39 amI suspect you though. I don’t trust people giving easy townreads early D1 or in this case D0.
Why do you town read all those people?
I’m not a trusting player. My style is you are guilty until proven otherwise.![]()
You'll be fine here, dw. People throw around early townreads but don't actually stick to them if they later find reason not to.
Also I'm giving you an early D0 townlean now.
You made me realize something with that last sentence though. Im giving scum hints on how to manipulate me.
That is my thought process. I must say though im a naturally paranoid and skeptical player, so i'm giving you time to show me if you are town or not.

Re: Bike [Day 0]
Do you rely on meta a lot?tutuu wrote: ↑Sat Jan 09, 2021 3:15 pm I am hesitant to attempt to read Marmot as he always rands Mafia and the last time I tried to Gambler's Fallacy townread him that didn't turn out well.
The fact is that he is scumsiding be scumreading me (a Town-aligned person) and it's unfortunate when he has so much meta on me. So I will never feel comfortable townreading him and it would be easier if he wasn't scumreading someone that I know is Town-aligned.
