Uh -yah. You get rent doubled and your property will work 100% and you can bankrupt other players - so no thank you.
But this:
Additionally, each time a player obtains a property, I will input their name into a wheel, which gets spun once at the end of the day.

Each owned property is represented by a space on the wheel. If a player has a monopoly*, I multiply their slots by 2.
If the wheel lands on your name, you will earn safety that night and the following day from losing money and all negative abilities (this includes mafia attacks and paying rent). This does not prevent a day elimination, however. The result of this spin is not public knowledge.
I have not received anything from any wheel so again I will not allow you to have the power to poss bankrupt a player. It's just my way of playing Monopoly since the dawn of time. You can be my brother and hate my game play <3

If so, that might be why we had no-kill and then someone we know isn't a mafia.

Lol, or maybe you yourself already benefited from a spin of the wheel that it is stated as not public knowledge. Maybe that's why there was no-kill last night.

No I haven't used any of my property abilities at all this entire game.

Nah everything I have posted in this game has been total honesty.

Or maybe it was bc:
Lol---------
Scotty wrote: Thu Jul 04, 2024 9:48 pm Mafia Special Abilities:
When mafia attack, they are collecting up to $250 from an individual, and as such the attacker will receive 10% (rounded down) of that player’s money when attacking. This means that a mafia attack may not necessarily kill a player if that player has more than $250 at the time of attack.
When moving, mafia may choose to roll with 2d6, 2d8 or 2d10
Properties cost 10% less to purchase if not contested (not applicable in auction)
If a mafia player lands on a partner’s property, they do not pay. That’s family.

I just think you're town and I think you think I'm town. We both get double protection if we do this trade. And maybe we'll bankrupt a Wolf.

I think there are upsides for the town if we both have a monopoly. I also think there are upsides for town if you use your abilities. Like at the very least, protect yourself maybe?

I get that you have a classic way of playing monopoly. But I don't think it is in the town's best interest.

And if someone lands on your property and you don't want to bankrupt them, you can make a trade giving them money for something to keep them alive.

Players on the move!

@DrWilgy took a stroll along HurdyGurdyMan Ave, which is balmy this time of year.

@Long Con stopped at Green1 to smell the roses. It was next to Green2, which smelled like garbage for some reason, so Green1 smelled like garbage.

@Roxy was on a roll (heh) and continued her railroad accumulation with RR4, now Casey Jones Speed Commuter. The train is in the station!

@Sloonei visited the ‘Welcome to Scottyville’ sign to remind himself of his roots and how far he’s come.

@S~V~S visited the Electric Company but felt it too expensive at face value.

**********************

@DarlingMonroe picks up a Chance card. It reads:

New Kids

Pay $50 for the hospital bill. Then roll again as if you just rolled doubles.

***********************

There is ONE new property up for auction today:
Electric Company

Anyone may now bid for this property in the Auction channel. Bidding will end at 9p Eastern on 7/18.

I have not updated the Big Board, as I am behind. It will be updated later.

Day 3 will end in 24 hours.

That leaves us with SVS and Long Con. LC was an active participant in yesterday's elimination as well. Plus his iso looks better than SVS's, both generally and in interactions with Epi. [VOTE: SVS] aubergine

I'll pull receipts if I have to later on. Too tired to do it right now.
Those are fine receipts. [VOTE: S~V~S] aubergine
I kinda thought DM and Wilgy were the driving forces behind Epis yeet, not just Wilgy.

I really have nothing to say about any of this. Kinda wrong place at the wrong time (bed), but not really, since I don't think I would have voted for Epi anyhow  I was pretty convinced DM was bad at that time, and thought Epi could be 3P, at worst he was reading null to me.

So good luck tomorrow, when I'm gone, and you're the one with the receipts.

Last night I attempted (only 30% chance of success, I think) to "commute" Sloonei with the Orange power. That would block him, as well as protect him. I did it more to protect him, as I felt he would be the best target to frame me. So maybe it worked and that was why there was no kill. I asked Scotty but got the shrug. Not implying I think he's bad, am implying I think he may have been the NK target. With the only 30%, it's a possibility, but not a likelihood. The wheel may have been more likely, especially if the target was DM, they have a Monopoly right? On Boardwalk/Park Place?

Epignosis is the player that would enjoy outing himself and his team in the thread, to have it perceived as a joke. What delightful smuggery! Deceive with the truth. Doesn't mean he did that, but what if he did?
Further, prior to this:

Yes, let's! [VOTE: DrWilgy] aubergine
These two posts would reflect Long Con's perception of 'wouldn't it be fun to out in the thread and have it be perceived as a joke?' that they placed upon Epi.

When LC agreed to vote Epi with DM it was for trade and didn't REALLY put Epi at risk until others started to agree. When that was called sketch they backed out and then only moved back to Epi when Roxy had swung the vote in Epi's favor.

This is most likely the bus if bus was the case.

Let me review the night kills once more as that guided quite well towards Epi though.

SVS's ISO in regards to Epi appears to be an inquiry as to where Epi is and further Epi and Lime Coke being null when suspecting and voting DM.

the thing is that I can believe this. It's entirely possible that wrong place/wrong time, but at the same time it's still hard to think that Epi yeet came out of a bus given the circumstance.

I'd like some other opinions prior to EoD on this one if anyone can review SVS's ISO. @Roxy you specifically I think would be insightful.

I don't think it's Sloonei again,

Sloon's ISO and regards to the migration onto Epi, they were an encouraging force. They moved in response to the momentum and idea without any hesitation, there wasn't the time to assess if the bus was risky/worth and if this was a bus I lose to it.

Roxy ISO is hard as well.

Roxy starts with a raised eye and then generally moves Epi more towards a 'I've got my eye on you' Then places a tr on them without much more progression in between.

If it wasn't for Roxy's vote being when Roxy voted, I'd say this is the wolf, but Roxy's vote was so good. The early almost feels exactly what I'd expect distancing to be and the progression to TR is so odd that it really has me like :eye: 👄 :eye:

I'd like other opinion's on Roxy's interactions with Epi. That vote timing was so good that I'd probably still lose to it, but the good timing could've been an instruction from a more absent Epi to 'bus me.'

Epi re Roxy looks like a more pockety type play. Plus the back and forth from Epi's perspective seems alot less like theatre. Makes me feel better about Roxy.

Porscha was voting SVS.

Cape had LC, SVS and Roxy higher with Sloon middling. I think this NK had everything to do with Cape's momentum and Epi's placement.

Falc had SVS as town and Roxy as not yet worthy of voting.

Lemon was much of the same as Cape, but SVS was a tl vs a tr.

Oh, if anyone knows anything about the no kill I think it's wise to claim this cycle. We are on a soft 3-4 person PoE and if we get that to a correct PoE of 2, with there being a 3p in a 12 player game, we can probably lock the game.

Why would you ask Sloonei why other people are voting him and not those of us who are?
I read your posts (and the other two voters) where you supposedly gave your reasons for voting for him, and I took nothing away from them. Sometimes I find that asking the person with the votes why they think they're getting votes (especially ambiguous ones like yours and LC's) tells me something about them, as well as the votes on them. So I asked him cause I was looking for his opinion.
Even when Epi questioned why you did not question him, you said you would learn more from Sloonei's response than from his voters. Basically doubling down on your *why* you were doing this.

Please help me to understand your play. Why Wigly?
Why SVS?
You did expand on SVS that you thought that "slippery" and "slick" are words I tend to use when I find someone I believe to be bad - SVS thought you were bad - I did too - to keep this real - but the word choice. Yeah. Maybe she is doing the same as me. idk.
I'm just poking at people I don't find towny. I felt like not enough people were poking at Wilgy and if we have a lurky wolf, Wilgy kind of fits that mold where you're kind of there but not really. I think DM is really just not playing at this point so her alignment might be more at ~rand than bad. I still wouldn't mind voting them out though.

SVS was actually because I read my role again and it said I could get +1 vote the next day if I voted the dog. I was wondering if SVS had the same thing but with cat so that's why they voted me but they just gave legitimate-sounding reason. So I poked there. I think their initial reaction I had an instinctive OMGUS but when that passed, SVS felt like they could still be town but IDK.

I think it's possible we're just clashing with each other's playstyles and I've experienced this in the past and scumread the other person for it but they flipped town so I might just trust the reads that other people have on SVS. You guys have more meta on her anyway.

I still kind of want to vote her to test out the role thing though.
OK, this makes a lot of sense it almost felt like you were pushing me a bit. Now I get it. If you want to vote for me, I'd appreciate it if you did it when I wasn't in this position lol. I kinda wish you had yesterday.

Linki @Sloonei OK, I said that specifically becasue you said you didn't want to question me while banana-standed; the implication for me was that you had questions to ask. So your issue is that you feel I was too quick to townread you?

Then Lemon died. Notice you also quoted me clearing Lemon but made zero mention of it. But you did seem calm in this post.

'never vote you unless forced to at gunpoint'
was the crumb I left but wanted to clarify.
Yesterday? So someone has a vote forcing power. I
Clarity; it isn't me. I could take money from Lemon, and I can learn what a game piece within one space of me can do, but I have not checked anyone cause I either haven't been next to anyone, or jail.

Since powers are attached to game pieces, not roles, it isn't necessarily a baddie so maybe soemone willl fess up?

Wait......your game piece has 2 powers? Wow. So what have you learned about other game pieces? Why wait so long to share this info if you are Town?

I would like to know wtf happened to Sloonei his disappearance.
I feel pretty OK re Wilgy, null on LCoke, also null on Epi. Maybe I have Stockholm Syndrome, but I feel OK re you and LCon, being alone in here with you guys this weekend. I felt good about Sloonei before the last EOD, I don't understand why he switched his vote. He seemed to be pretty fixed on me before that.

The person who has my eye most is DM. They came in here, listed suspects, voted for someone other than those suspects cause they trusted you, which always bothers me, when someone lays their vote at someone elses feet, so they can lay the blame there, too. Those huge bids are like someone who doesn't worry about being bankrupted by baddies.

So that's where I am.
But...would someone who has such chaotic EOD's (the voting, hopping, willy nilly style following) be bad? Or town? Why for either or both.

See this progression bothers me more than the bids. Although they bother me too. 9:27, DM thinks maybe Falcon is town, but they could be wrong

Then 7 minutes later, they trust Roxy enough to vote for the person they just said they thought was town. Cause Roxy said so.

This just really bothers me, so Imma [VOTE: Darling Monroe] aubergine and then spend the rest of the night waiting for them to come in here and go to town on me lol

Your own falcon vote reads just as badly. You have zero reasons and I cannot remember any progression from you.

damn this post is getting a bit unwieldy so this is where I'll end and hope for a response.

If you are town I hope I can find you.

While one of you is the wolf, we can consolidate data I think? Further if we consolidate money on our trs we can protect them.

I'll be at $251 if I'm provided exactly $27.

Is anyone else close?
One of my properties has the ability to save someone from Bankruptcy. I can give you a little money. It however does not state what a "little bit of money" amount is.

I can also force someone to give a $150 to the bank.

from da rules:

Additionally, each time a player obtains a property, I will input their name into a wheel, which gets spun once at the end of the day.
Each owned property is represented by a space on the wheel. If a player has a monopoly*, I multiply their slots by 2.
If the wheel lands on your name, you will earn safety that night and the following day from losing money and all negative abilities (this includes mafia attacks and paying rent). This does not prevent a day elimination, however. The result of this spin is not public knowledge.

During the previous day, LC gained 2, Roxy gained 2, DM gained 1. Any of these players may have survived because of this.

Currently SVS either skipped or didn't have the funds for electric.

DM may have protection based on getting the electric company, I'd advise we not bid against the slot.

Sloon can get prot via >250

I can get prot via >250

Roxy can provide prot via property ability.

I was not told this in my private channel so I do not think it was me.

Or do you think Scotty is hiding that from everyone? Doesn't feel right..........

Roxy is this 150$ something you can do at night? if SVS didn't buy electric because of funds you may bankrupt them as a pseudo vig assuming they don't appear on the wheel.

We may be able to close the game by yeeting Long Con and the 150$ to vig SVS.

The players who I think are towny-est are likely to be protected or difficult to kill this cycle.

@S~V~S or @Long Con assuming one of you is town, can you divide out money to Sloonei and I assuming you think we are both town?
