I don't know if it can beat the awesome excitement that is Cricket. My cousins brother in law plays for the Trinidad cricket team, and I have had to watch video of his matches and it was all I could do not to pry my own eyes out with a toothpick.

I am confused as to the purpose here~ are we making fun of sports we think suck, or defending those that we like but OTHER people think suck?

Becasue I like rock climbing/mountaineering. And i think Cricket is the sport of the damned, not unlike golf.

It's only sevens, it's not really the same.

Still, when they announced they were going to add two new sports to the Olympics, and then added rugby and golf, I didn't expect New Zealand to be in with a good chance to win 3 out of the 4 new golds.

Fwiw, rock climbing is being strongly considered for the 2020 Olympics.
