Well, i read this book like 86 times so

Dune is a planet, home of the Spice, most expensive & addictive substance in the universe, prolongs life and is just an awesome high. This is a desert planet, so water is of nearly as much value. Gom jabbar is a test of "awareness"; transcend the poison or die.

Poison Snooper detects traps others set for you. Windtrap collects water from the atmosphere. Lasgun is a gun.

So based on this post, (thanks for the refersher SVS, been waaaay to long since I've read Dune...) Imma going with windtrap because Gom jabbar test sounds like something I might fail and everything else is taken. Late to the party, but not so late as to get nothing.

I won't blame you but I do admit my content knowledge is lacking like lots. Mostly I remember spice being important and Sting looked GREAT in that gold speedo.

I admit that the idea of being tested was what steared me away from the Gom choice...though there are more of them, so by deduction should be more desirable....

No no, my friend. I'm not playing this game (hence the blue font in the pics). I just couldn't pass up a good opportunity to throw a "that's what she said" out there. We're still waiting for our daughter to be born. Saturday is the due date! We'll see if she's on time.
