I voted too. I hope you were as kind to me in your votesas I was to you.

I'd also like to apologize for the presence on the new players list of a bunch of my friends who bailed partway through their first games.

I don't think greybonez actually bailed, did he?
As a side note, not only is llama banned from winning any awards, but his friends get extra votes in their favor for all awards.
Linki: I'm afraid so. Please note that self-votes are permitted. :P

I will publish here an extract from MovingPictures ballot.

Yeah, that's about what I expected.

I have tallied the results so far, and they are very interesting. Some awards are already developing clear frontrunners, some others are seeing some very tight races, while others can't seem to settle on any candidates at all.
After some discussion, Golden and I have decided to include one more Award to the Sockys: The Best Overall Performance of 2015, or the MVP.
For those of you who have already voted, you may still vote on this one. Just send an additional PM to the appropriate account with the name of this award and the name of the player you are voting for.

I think that is a fair way of putting it. It could be someone you think played really well regardless of affiliation, or it might be someone who really dominated a particular affiliation... just whoever you feel played the best, overall, in 2015.
Looks like we missed someone. Typhoony has been added to the list of New Members. Though he joined the Syndicate in 2013, he didn't even post here until about 2 years later, and his first game was in 2015.
Since he's a nub, I should probably add him to the New to Mafia list too.

Lol how bout all those Floyd alts... I mean friends.
I need to go back and find that exchange I had with J3 where he actually thought I'd been setting up for LYLO for nearly a month as some scum mastermind. It wasn't funny at all at the time but looking back it's hilarious now.

WTF was up with Wilgy's entire deal?
Voting is closed. Sorry to those who voted for JJJ's quote in the Game of Champions (there were many of you). Don't forget to submit it next year, when GoC 2015 will be eligible for the Socky awards!!

No, PMs never expire. They can only go away if the sender deletes them while they are still unread (in the sender's outbox), but even then the receiver will still receive a notification containing information that a message was sent, who sent the message, and that the message has been deleted.
I've had PMs sit in my outbox for more than a year, so don't panic; they will still be there for one of the ambassadors to read if you send them.
