I just got my box set of this arrive by post from Amazon after some kind of French detour. It took forever.
I remember loving this show when I was little. Such a great show. Now I'm loving it all over again.
And is there any guy of my generation who watched the show and didn't have a crush on Winnie Cooper?

I intend to subject any sons I have to it at the appropriate age.

Re: The Wonder Years
Such a good show.
I've used Paul's Bar Mitzvah many times in teaching. And I actually remember watching the episode where Winnie moves away when it first aired. I was a senior in high school, and so the whole idea of people moving on was especially meaningful. And it was soon after a classmate of mine (with whom I had gone to elementary school) had died in a car accident, and I was still very much mourning that. I bawled. While I have seen many epsodes multiple times since, I don't think I've ever rewatched that particular episode.
