I do not fault Scotty for thinking I'm suspicious based on Scotty's actions. I think he is wrong and that he should know that, but I know he genuinely believes that I am.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:Wrong answer. You expect me to believe that you're fine with the guy who has emerged into this phase, in which you suggest you've been smeared post-mortem by Scotty, saying he is "99% sure you're bad" and "Quin is a confirmed baddie". There is absolutely no way. That's not a host being a clown. It has a major impact upon the game. It was a component of some role that caused that to happen, either in Scotty's own role or elsewhere.Epignosis wrote:I assumed G-Man was just being a clown. Re: RED vs. BLUE: Day 2
I'm looking at MP/reywaS and S~V~S/Wilgy2.0 relative to Scotty. They're both in my PoE, but to discern which one should be called "more suspicious" is very difficult given the content. Scotty was harsher in his dealings with MP. He griped about MP's "I'm busy" posts. He said basically nothing about S~V~S other than to acknowledge that she wasn't present.
I am inclined to think MP is more suspicious, even if just slightly. Active distancing like that is easier to swallow than idle mentions within larger groups.

Quin's read on Golden right now reminds me of myself in Transistor. Basically the whole game llama knew I was bad and he made it pretty obvious, but I was Mr. Careful and never quite attacked him for it until late in the game. A "begrudging town read" is exactly the type of scum indicator I was looking for.
Shit, I did the same thing with coolkid in the champs finale last year (hi Rico!) when he knew I was bad. It's textbook scum.

I feel obliged to answer this question. I was not being a clown with the delayed reveal on Scotty. Perhaps your frame of reference on this game should be different from other games. That's all I'm comfortable saying right now.Golden wrote:G-Man, were you just being a clown?Epignosis wrote:Why did Scotty show up as civilian and then mafia? Re: RED vs. BLUE: Day 1
I keep returning to this:
It looks like Scotty was just looking for whatever excuse available to throw shade at Beck. It's forced though, in a way rather similar to how his "GTH bad" read on Quin was forced. I get a similar vibe -- that he felt like he had to say something negative even if he couldn't substantiate it at all.Scotty wrote:Beck came out guns ablazing with his hung-ho "I'm-new-here-but-ima-fuck-shit-up" mentality, and it was refreshing. But I wonder if he is acting rather than being. You know whaddimsayin?

Semantic bullshit, meaningless, go spend your time talking about someone you haven't already voted for, you're wasting my time, you're wasting your time, this is a waste of time, do better.Epignosis wrote:If everyone has the same tell, then it isn't meaningful, and isn't a tell.
You must know this.
