Circling back to this prior thought:

Converse strategy being we get everyone to claim a location and load up one location each night and only leave two people at the other (the Beach tonight, for instance). That way the baddies will try to flock to the fuller place to hide themselves in or abstain from killing if they're one of the two at the other site.

What do you all (everybody) think about piling the rest of us in the hatch, leaving three people on the beach to pressure any beach-dwelling killers into abstention?

What is the advantage of that?

Reading this does give me an idea of something to look out for, though. I'll elaborate another day.

Could be a useful way to limit the baddies' options. If only three people are on the beach and one of them is a baddie, it would take a bold baddie team to have their Beach Body baddie take out one of the other two and make it easier to figure him or her out. I admit that it doesn't help much but it could make one of the two locations a safe house of sorts.

As the game progresses, we could also coordinate the location calls and stick any super-civvies in the small spot. One part bait in case we're wrong about any seeming super-civs and two parts keeping those players out of harm's way.

There are potential drawbacks (bold baddies, an indy killer unafraid to draw attention, misreading players, abstentions, etc.) and the game may be too small to try it effectively. Then there's the human element. "Don't tell me what I can't do!" and whatnot (I'm looking at you Locke).

I wouldn't go as far to say as that I think this is a valid strategy, but at the same time I'm leaning towards thinking that this comes from a civilian mindset than a scum one.

I also had a thought that we could put our top scum reads together and sit everyone else in the other location, but abstaining from a NK would make that pretty ineffective. The mafia abstaining from the kill may work in our favour, though. And like you said, people just might not cooperate.

I trust these two roles out of the sheer unlikelihood that either one is bad again. That would clear both DFaraday and Epignosis for me. I'd prefer to see more (any?) substantive content from Epi but I find I'm suspicious of him far too often (like I am with S~V~S).
