I was pulling for Poe, but I'm totally content with Steinbeck winning this thing.

Yes Steinbeck won, it's a small victory but it brings me joy.

Steinbeck, Whitman, Poe, Twain and Hemingway were my top 5.

I'm even more out of my element here than I was with literature. Given I listen to music pretty much all the time, all other forms of entertainment suffer, and movies do to the utmost degree. I'm sure I've seen no more than 100 movies in my entire life, probably much less. I'm trying to fix that though these days. Just saw Arrival last night.

The Matrix - 15
Terminator 2: Judgement Day - 13
Dark City - 15
Jurassic Park - 15
Gattaca - 15
12 Monkeys -17
Total Recall - 15
Starship Troopers -15
5th Element - 15
Existenz - 15
Tank Girl - 15
Stargate - 15
Mars Attacks - 15
Event Horizon - 15
Galaxy Quest - 17

I feel guilty even doing anything to any of these because I haven't seen a single one.

Dark City is a good, if somewhat gimmicky movie. I recall liking it.

Well they're all movies I like, so take that for what you will. Dark City and Existenz came out the same year as Matrix, but suffered because it had a similar theme, which is unfortunate because I think they both stand alone on their own merits, and cases could be made for being them superior movies. I mean Dark City was a Proyas project and Existenz was made by Cronenberg, if that gives any insight into what type of movies they are.

Tank Girl is just fun and Event Horizon is nuts.
