"IT IS FINISHED!" roared THE GAME. Its voice echoed through the simulation room and shook the Island within the simulation.

The dead arose and everyone felt their feet drift up away from the ground. The beach, the palm trees, and even the sunshine rippled and swirled around them. When their surroundings stopped changing, they found themselves in a room overlooking a large airplane hanger. It was filled with a literal labyrinth of crates stacked 15 feet high.

"What's this?" one of the recruits asked.

"OH THIS?" THE GAME chortled, "CONSIDER THIS A PREVIEW OF FATE OF COMMANDER REGULUS AND HIS CREW."

"Who?" someone else asked.

"NEVER MIND. WELCOME TO STAGE 2. ONCE YOU ARE ALL RELEASED INTO THE MAZE BELOW, DEATH WILL REMOVE YOU FROM THE SIMULATION. WHEN YOU ARE LYNCHED, YOU WILL BE BROUGHT BACK UP HERE TO SEE YOUR TEAMMATES AND ENEMIES CONTINUE ON TO THE END. YOU ALL RETAIN YOUR NEURAL LINKS, SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM FROM UP HERE AS WELL.

With that, the floor dropped out from under them and they fell into the final stage of this madness.

Ricochet is the player I trust the most in this game. I don't know if I'm going to do what he says, but he's the only one with a clear and reasoned viewpoint in all of this mess that isn't just "let the primes win."
