I guess a lot of people have done Death Note and FMA is cursed so I'll pass on those. Code Geass I've seen a role, I could try make a full game after season 3 is out. Assas Classroom has this game. I have an idea for a Shaman King role, could make a game from it. Kenichi could make a game, though it's kind of lacking in civ characters.

Nowadays I don't read or watch anything without thinking of the mafia game making possibilities.

I wrote my top 10 so long ago that some of them don't really make sense anymore. They're not in any order, just a copy and paste from MAL.

1. Zetsuen no Tempest
2. Mirai Nikki
3. Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou
4. Rokka no Yuusha
5. Barakamon
6. White Album 2
7. Durarara!!
8. Assassination Classroom
9. Nichijou
10. Another

Rokka no Yuusha is basically mafia adapted to anime. It's an excellent murder mystery type of thing and kept me on the edge of my seat through my entire first viewing.
Barakamon is the ultimate feel-good show. There's nothing better out there. The spin off Handa-kun is alright too, but a different beast entirely.
Durarara!! excels more than any other show I know in juggling a large number of characters. I feel like they all have so much depth and development and they're given the perfect amount of screentime.
Assassination Classroom is just that perfect mix of everything. I fell in love with the story and characters pretty much immediately. It has great rewatchability too.
Nichijou just has so many hilarious scenes. I can sink an entire day just viewing individual scenes on YouTube.
I can't remember exactly why Zetsuen no Tempest was so good. I know I loved it. There were some homages to Shakespeare in there. I'll watch it again at some point.
Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou's art is some of the most enticing I've ever seen. I literally cannot get enough of it. Usa is a great MC too. I would just barely keep it in my updated top 10 though.

Mirai Nikki probably snuck on there because of its rewatchability and the fact that I'm a sucker for horror anime. If I were to give the list a proper re-evaluation I'd probably boot it.
Another is the same as Mirai Nikki.
White Album 2 is a guilty pleasure. It made me feel things. By the same token though it was a one trick pony in that respect.

Of those I only watched Durarara. Didn't like it that much (the plot kind of drags in the second half of season 1). Haven't watched the new season though.

On the one hand, Season 1 adapts 3 books, with loads of filler thrown in. Season 2 is only 12 episodes longer, and it adapts 10 books. So pacing changes quite a lot.

On the other hand, Durarara!! is really, at heart, a slice of life type anime (With Dullahan's, cursed swords, mafia, and other weirdos). I love it to pieces because of the characters, their development, and the moments that happen along the way. But I can see how people wouldn't like it, due to the lack of concentrated plot.

I'm currently reading book 9 of 13, and have been reading them as they were translated. The translation is just okay, with mediocre prose, but I like seeing the character moments that got skipped in the second season's fast pace.

Should we make an anime topic? I feel like we might be distracting from the game at hand.
