Re: Mafia: A World Asunder - GAME THREAD [Night 3]
That makes sense it did seem odd that multiple people seemed to want to be lynched or be okay with being lynched at the same time. I don't know what direction to go anymore. We lost another civ but it sounds like from what people said in the last game yin and yang werent necessarily straight forward civ and could end up bad. No way to know for sure if that was the case here. I wonder why spirityos role and alignment were not revealed.
Also I see Enrique jumped at the opportunity to vote for me. Didnt even bother to give any explanation this time.
That darkness thing could be referencing the darkness mentioned earlier that tries to take people over? Blechh I dont like the sounds of that.
I'll look at slooneis suspect list and see if there is anything if note there. Going back to sleep now.

Sometimes life does seem all planned out, like there's no choice in the matter. But that's just an illusion.

Jackofhearts2005 can we revisit your post about the nutella killer?
You say either speedchuck, sig or Sprityo killed nutella. How sure are you that it's one of these three? And how sure are you that they actually killed her rather than target her with another ability? (The same question also applies to Sloonei 's 5)
I just went through nutella's ISO and she made about 10 posts suspecting speedchuck (really, go through her ISO!). If it's between these three I wouldn't be surprised if it's speedchuck based off nutella's posts. I'll have a look through sig's posts later.
I'm guessing Sprityo's role and alignment weren't revealed because he got darknessed?
Lunalee mechanically cleared G-Man so he might be Yin?

Hey novaselinenever unless you plan on spending the next 24 hours doing nothing but reading posts you should probably streamline it a little. Maybe read only Day 3, or only the final 2 hours before each lynch (which is where 1/3 of the posting gets done give or take).
Well suit yourself, just saying it's better if you catch up in some limited sense and start participating than if you give up because of too many posts.

Re: Mafia: A World Asunder - GAME THREAD [Night 3]
I am voting for Tranqs civviest read, INH at this time. I don't believe he had a must be lynched condition that commenced at EOD, and I do believe his whole "Lynch me schtick" was designed to frighten people off from lynching him. All he needed to do to be lynched was make some crappy no u accusations and not even bring up that whole "lynch me" thing (which I would imagine would violate the rules of a "lynch me" curse in any case).
Plus as soon as he dropped down in votes, he disappeared, when if he really did have to be lynched, he would have started trying harder. I call shenanigans.
[VOTE: INH] aubergine
Seeing as Luna flipped as part of yin/yang, do we think it likely her counterpart is also civ?

This may come as a huge shock to all of you but there actually is no Mirror of Truth. While i did suspect Wilgy, i needed an extra push of suspicion on me so i made that up and claimed it was real even after SVS figured out i was joking.

Re: Mafia: A World Asunder - GAME THREAD [Day 3]
I want to draw people’s attention to an earlier post:
Check out that role list and see which ones have a “dual” or “double” function. The guy with holograms, maybe, but he’s dead. And then there’s Yin and Yang.
Luna was one of that half, and is dead, and civ to boot. If these roles function as they did in the past, then the other half would now be bad (if my understanding is correct).
I’m not saying there aren’t other viable wagons (Tranq, Sabie, G-Man, and Sloonei might be pulling our legs quite frankly) but I think this deserves consideration and it’s where my vote goes as of now.

In Hogwarts, @DharmaHelper used the res. stone to talk to him in the afterlife, then he slipped maybe a little to much information to INH (like having the stone and wanting to make alliances with the mafia).
One day later INH gets revived by lolRedirects and both me and DH think DH is doomed since INH is gonna out him to his scummates.
But INH just spends the whole day posting Voldemort memes and not being arsed to tell his team about it before he's lynched again.
So yeah.

Re: Mafia: A World Asunder - GAME THREAD [Night 3]
Tranq is looking more fallacious the more I think about him. He feels more like an actual jester than INH, even. "Had to be lynched so he lied to us"? That's not a civ mindset.
I wouldn't be opposed to lynching him. Heck, I wish the night vigs got to work and removed those two already. Though at this point I bet at least one of them is an indie, if not both.

Actually before anyone asks the reason I called him "possibly civ" in the previous post was that I had skimmed his jester reveal and thought he was saying he had fake claimed to save himself from being lynched.
This time I read it again and noticed he actually wanted to be lynched, which sounds a lot less likely to be civ.

I don't know there is a voice screaming to me that it is too easy. For Tranq and INH just to give themselves up to us on a plate.
We don't have a better way to fight this kind of thing as civs other than lynching whoever does it, though.

- You started your "Get lynched Day 3" campaign....day 2
- You *and* INH both got the same exact mission...a day early.
- You're allowed to talk about it without being modkilled in a game where Long Con almost modkilled me for saying "Day 4" wrong.
Really good stuff. Definitely nothing to see here, civs.

I like how everyone was like "Tranq obviously wants to be lynched otherwise he'd not be doing such suspicious shit" and then Tranq, blood pouring from his mouth as he tries desperately to hide the pile of corpses behind him was like "What? Uh...yeah...definitely." and everyone was like "Wow totally believable."

(which doesn't guarantee they're the same alignment of course, but it doesn't appear they work the same as they apparently did in previous games)

Wow cool so not "lynch all liars" but definitely "lynch the liar that isn't my teammate" got it, totally.Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 7:57 am I'm holding the urge to scream "lynch all liars" and put a vote on Tranq but I still think it's silly enough that a civ might do it.

[VOTE: INH] aubergine
I don't know what this fella is, but a civ he is not.
Another double standard from DDL RE: Tranq and INH.

Hey if Tranq's Day 2 mission was to get lynched Day 3 how did he know that saying Doc "might be bad" would be a good way to do that? Like, did he maybe know that because he's on a team and Doc isn't on that team? Wow what a crazy wild game.

I can answer the first part. Day 0.colonialbob wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 10:09 am When did you figure out you had to get lynched day 3? Can you say any more about why?
I think so, my guess is he has the exact same role as me.Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 11:57 am @Tranq I guess your role and INH's are connected in some way?

Oh shoot, Day 0 he says? Wow that makes sense to me guys as a totally legitimate way to explain an entire games worth of very suspicious behavior. Wow. Guess we solved it.Tranq wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 12:59 pmI can answer the first part. Day 0.colonialbob wrote: ↑Mon Dec 17, 2018 10:09 am When did you figure out you had to get lynched day 3?
