Makes no difference to me. I’d have liked to keep my vote on S~V~S but I’ve been dying earlier than I care to lately, so I did the “I want to live!” thing for a change.

The cool thing about this game is that, even if we lynch a civvie, we still get a Socky reveal. We need to get our collective crap together soon but at least we don’t have to just stew and be mad when we’re wrong.

If I am lynched, I’ll have to remind myself of that but it’ll still be fun when I die. Let’s just say I have a special guest doing my presentation for me.

I was being facetious about the truth meta, I think that is bullshit. It's a weird thing in a Maria game, and I find it bizarre that it is even a thing.

But still, I am not bad and wasn't lying. We don't know what roles are out there; it can't hurt to tell the truth, even if it doesn't have a fancy jargony name.

Seeking justice for the murderous interruptions to the ceremony, the presenters converged on two of their own, suspicious that they might be behind the killings. After a violent melee, one man was left beaten to a pulp. A prepared speech was located on his smart phone by police, who couldn't resist the opportunity to give the presentation themselves.

Enrique was lynched. He was:

Ahem, well, alright, okay. So this is how it is, then.

I'm presenting the Best Side Mission Award. I didn't play this game so I figured I wouldn't really know how to talk it up. I mean, sure, it looks like it was a lot of fun, but that's a given with this community and host, not to mention the theme. You don't need to have played it to appreciate all the detail that went into it, though. Just looking at the endgame makes me go fuck, I should've been there. You miss all the shots you don't take etc.. The set-up was astounding, but even that wasn't enough. The host had to be present in the game, keep perfect track of every action, make adjustments so that the game would run smoothly through the two weeks it lasted. It's an insane effort. You can host a whole game just telling the players who died on every phase, maybe what their role was. This was on a whole other level. That the host could pull it off and then by the end break down their observations into a detailed self-reflection tells me, wow, this person cares about the community a lot. And of course it wasn't just the host. Mafia doesn't really take off if the players can't properly engage with the set-up. They posted a lot. I can tell that this was a high effort game from all parties, that it was a collaborative effort to make this game award-worthy.

Besides being an award winner, this game was also the host's swan song. The host did what had to be done and left on a high note. I'm thrilled to offer this to my almost-namesake, and I really hope that he gets to see this, I'm sure somebody's keeping in touch with him, thank you [mention]Ricochet[/mention] for hosting Courage the Cowardly Dog Mafia! Thank you for the work, thank you for building community with us, you know you're welcome back any time.

Now back to the game I was playing and that I will surely win since only a fool would try to kill me!

EVERY lynch is of a cool player I would have liked to have played with. All the people not posting or voicing suspicions are lazy, not fair to spatter that brush on those of us who are trying or who maybe voted for someone you think is cool.

I have no idea why everyone started following me on voting gman. I mean I explained my reasons and maybe I missed it but I didnt see others post that they were voting for him or make a case against him. I always thought you at least had to post who you were voting for but maybe I'm wrong. Typically no one reads what I say or responds anyway so I mean maybe this isnt the right place for me. Congrats to the winners so far though and this awards through a game thing is pretty cool.

My voting for gman is because hes very nonchalant about being okay with a civ being lynched as long as the game keeps moving and he just goes after people who barely participated so theres nothing to go on.

My nonchalance has less to do with this specific game and more to do with my general approach to the game of mafia itself.
