I had escargot for the first time on my first cruise with my wife. (We still talk about ours too!). I remember it being chewy and doused in a garlic butter sauce. I can’t say I know what it tastes like because all I tasted was garlic butter. I’ll go with no since it was chewy.

No. I don't know my maternal grandfather at all (his name is Bill and I'm left with the impression that nobody liked him). My maternal grandmother's mom died a few years back just shy of her 102nd birthday, but she was not the biological mother of my grandma (nobody talked about this, but I was informed of it one time when I was a teenager). My great-grandma had two husbands. One died of cancer, and the other "murdered himself," as she put it.

My dad's side should be clearer, but isn't. I don't know any of my paternal great-grandparents' names whatsoever. They were all dead by the time I was born, and nobody ever talked about them that I was aware of.

Whitewater rafting. I've done it a few times and loved it. Skydiving terrifies me and would probably make me sick.

I don't know that I am interpreting your question correctly but I do feel some art is objectively good and some bad. Though as I say that I don't know that everyone would agree with my assessments so maybe it's not objectively good or bad. I'd like to know what others think about this question so I'm going to repeat it.

I don't know, because I haven't done them, but from what I can tell, the standard deduction is the largest in history for our filing status, and we don't pay federal taxes anyway because the tax code is set up such that we get a "refund" even though we don't pay any taxes. What gets me are all those who complain that their refund checks aren't as large as they were in previous years, as though they treat their refund as a windfall savings account. Nonsense.
