The grotesquely named Mucinex, the one you have to get from behind the pharmacy counter since it has something in it that meth labs use. Dries those sinuses out like the Sahara.
Coronavirus: "overblown" or "OMG CVS is out of facemasks!!"
Skip softly, my moonbeams, for I have heard tell
That the stairs up to heaven lead straight down to hell
"OMG CVS is out of facemarks" in fact, when I read that I immediately called my mom and asked her if she'd heard anything like that "Oh yes" she said. "Everyone is out". OMG!!! I have compromised lungs (asthma) so even a cold can send me to the emergency room.
I like this question so much I'm going to ask it again:
Coronavirus: "overblown" or "OMG CVS is out of facemarks!!"
Overblown for the fact that the people most impacted by it are over the age of 60 and have respiratory issues/infections already. This virus isn’t going to start killing healthy people. It’s an opportunist, sucker punching those who aren’t in the best shape at the moment. Also, cynically speaking, we’re long past due for a global pandemic.
I've started my transition to cure my body dysphoria, started a new job and I'm back in school to earn my degree. I have goals and I'm working to achieve them. I've also learned to be patient, attentive and decisive within a chaotic universe. I'm taking an active role in my destiny.
What's a work of art that means a lot to you personally, but which no one else really understands in the same way?
I’ve never met another person who’s read my favorite book (Thomas Mann’s The Magic Mountain) and I would not hold my breath for it appeal to anyone in the same way it did for me if I were to recommend it to them. It resonated very peculiarly with me when I read it.
What’s a work of art that is held in high regard but that you don’t care for?
I used to, but I hurt myself racing down the slope I was waaay not qualified for one time too many. It's a blessing that snowboarding was not a thing in my youth, I would be dead.
My sister texted me that she went to 5 stores in Northern Connecticut and all of them were out of antibacterial gel and lysol style spray disinfectants (Corona panic, maybe?) . Do you use antibacterial products?

Yeah, I keep one at my desk, one in my truck, and I take advantage any time it's available. I also try to avoid touching my face as much as possible, unless I know my hands are clean. That's just regular "I don't want to get sick" behaviour. I'm not concerned about Coronavirus.
Money can buy short-term happiness, but it's fleeting. Money can also help build up a sense of contentment, but it's phony if it's the strongest piece of your contentment foundation. Long-term contentment requires relationships.
Are people fundamentally good, evil, or something else?
Good, I think default is closer to good than bad. Usually bad people have had awful experiences in life, while average good ones have had average lives.
Would you be satisfied in the end having lived an average, goodlife, or do you feel you need to acheive something extraordinary to be fulfilled?

I think that peace and happiness are states to be achieved from within, and those are the things toward which I want my life to strive. I do not necessarily need to achieve something extraordinary beyond inner peace, but achievements would not necessarily exclude the possibility either.
When I was a kid my mom made a soup from leftover meatloaf and mashed potatoes. It sounds so weird but it was so good. I'm vegetarian, but I would consider relaxing my scruples for a bowl of that soup.
Better cook; your Mom or your grandmother?

I like a reasonable, medium-sized house. Small is stifling, but going too large and it feels wasteful. Large houses typically have higher ceilings and a ‘great room’ which is a colossal waste of space and inefficient to heat and cool.
Do you think you could live in a ‘tiny house’ for a whole year?
Wood/brown. I guess i wouldn't mind colors, but preferably earth tones/nothing too garish and nothing too... cutesy, idk. Dark generally preferred over light.
The Grand Canyon or the Cliffs of Moher. The Grand Canyon is incredible in that it stretches as far as they eye can see. But the Cliffs of Moher are enormous jagged rocks above crashing waves with no man-made barrier for protection and I still get woozy thinking about it.
Which team has the best uniforms in your favorite professional sports league?
You couldn't pay me to live there, but this country mouse loved getting lost there even if it was only for a day.
An insane guy has threatened you that you have to go into a jazz club and do a number on karaoke night in front of everybody or else. What are you singing?
If by bad trip you’ll count bad travel experience- heck yeah. Two summers ago my wife and I came within 10 minutes of missing a second-chance flight to get us to our cruise on time. It was my first time flying since I was a baby. Note to self- one-hour layovers aren’t enough.
Which team will Tom Brady sign with for next season?

2050- I’d be young enough to see America’s tricentennial and the start of the 22nd century but old enough to appreciate both.
Should I take my family to Disney On Ice on April 4th if our tickets haven’t been cancelled yet?
We have 8 rolls in the linen closet. That should be enough until stores restock. I mean, everyone who bought the 24-packs should still have plenty on hand in a week’s time, right?
What pandemic survival item do you lack and wish you had?
