So those tildes under Powers. Back in the old, old, old days that represented text that we were supposed to try and fill in to discover what was being said (in this case what powers are in the game). Anyone else remember the tilde exercises? I think I'll ask G-Man what the deal is and ask him to respond in the thread.
This post feels a bit wordier than it needs to be. Stressing that she’s going to ask G-man feels like she’s going out of her way to demonstrate her forward-thinkingness. But that’s more of a mild ping for juliets than it would be for others.
I was just trying to explain it clearly because I knew most people wouldn't be familiar with it. I'm not sure what you are saying about forward thinkingness but that's ok. You can explain later if you still have issues with it.

There's not much you could say about this anyway. I'm more interested in hearing whether or not you've got any reads at this stage.

I agree with Epi that this is pretty shit. I don’t like that Sloonei implies Juliets is bad and then discards that idea to ask about her reads.
That said, I will probably stick with the “lynch on D4 if he’s still alive” method of dealing with Sloon, such is my faith in my ability to correctly read him.

I don’t have an order for them and I’m not planning on having one...you’re welcome to ask for each one but I’m not gonna do a whole big reads list where I wrote a paragraph or two for each one though.
Idk yet, tbh I don’t really care right now? I’ll figure it out closer to EOD, for now my goal is just to find as many people I don’t want to kill D1 as I can and I’ll worry about sorting the rest later.

Town reads/leans make sense to me. I like 112s takes so far so that's prob good enough for me to give her a town lean too
Interested to hear about your read on Nova. Do you expect he would have done more at this point as town?
I'm confused a bit about your read on Sloonei, you said you wouldn't want to burn them on the stake just yet but on this read list it seems like you do. Which is it?

I say if by a critical point in the game he is still alive and he hasn't Tonberry'd anyone (I'm describing it this way from now on, but basically he asks questions in a pester-y way especially when he gets answers he doesn't like, and then eventually STAB), then he's scum.

In general I’m a 95% player—9.5 times out of 10, I’m a relatively easy read for people paying attention/that know me at all, and the other five percent is composed of the occasional really good scum game and crappy town games where even I can’t really complain (much) about getting misread.

Regarding Sloonei, my naked impression was towny but we played a game recently where I read him as town all game (our Game of Champions) when he was really scum so I kept him in my null pile because he can fool me. He reminded me here though that there were two mafia teams in that game so his behavior was to scum hunt just as if he were town in that game and that's probably why I was fooled for so long. That made me feel better about my town impression of him here so I changed him from null to town impression.
Regarding Dizzy, yeah I'm not worried yet. He mostly has just made me laugh because he's just Dizzy. I agree that his reason for saying he wouldn't be scum hunting will reveal itself eventually but that doesn't mean I'm not curious and shouldn't ask for the reveal early.
Also, I think it was you who asked, some of us use scum here, some of us just call mafia "bad" or "baddies", some use mafia, and some may use wolf but that's less common. Use whatever you like. Also, we many times use "civ" for town.

I get what you mean about Dizzy, although personally I don't think he's likely to reveal anything before he's ready bc I get the curiousity. I just wondered if you found something off about it.

What I remember of scum Sloonei in a non-multiball game is he is more silent than he is when he's civ. It's been a long time since I've played with scum Sloonei other than GOC though so there may be some other tell-tale signs. I'll try to remember what game it was and take a look. He says he's playing more than one game right now I see so his quietness is a little harder to assess. I'm going to have to take another look at his posts though and question my own town lean on him given how many people are saying he is scum.

Well, Epi is a tough one. He will tell you he doesn't have a specific "town" or "scum" way of playing and that may be true but I've had some success reading him correctly as town. I erred though in GOC reading him town when he was scum (I did not have a good game this year in GOC). One thing I learned from that game is when he argues illogically he is likely to be scum. He is a tough one to read.

I think this is dependent on the particular mod. Someone else can answer this better.
My role can lock people in their rooms, silencing them for the first half of a day phase and protecting them against all harmfull actions. So I guess it could be both disruptive and useful. You're welcome/I'm sorry. But it has to meet certain conditions to work. I'm not against town's wincon, nor that of mafia for that matter.

LOL it's actually a meme on Mafia Universe, where I've been spectating some games for the championship thing. There was some tell that saying "Fair Enough" as a response to something was more likely to be from scum. I don't think it was very accurate lol but it was a meme nonetheless

My meta on nova is vague, so it’s not so much about expectations and more about... I need more in terms of explanations. Feels like he could relatively easily do what he did here as scum.

That’s sort of why I placed Sloonei where I did, but I have to actively fight the other part of my brain that says lynching Sloonei on D1 is -EV, so yeah. I probably won’t want to kill him.

Nanook can be crafty scum having seen him in the COVID game but yeah he seems fine here for me so far. Carefree is a decent enough word.
