I disagree. If we were all here to play mafia in the most optimal way possible we would simply vote in alphabetical order every single time, but we don't do that because we're here for the intrigue and glory.

Mass claiming never works, especially with soup kill mechanics in play. Not to mention in this setup we don't know what roles we're taken out, so the scum could claim one or two of them and then we're back to square one of needing to scum hunt normally and in this scenario the scum now have total info about who is who.

People need to stop claiming as a means of defense. If you're being pressured be townier rather than shrugging and handing the mafia your role.
