Re: Bee Mafia [DAY 1]
And why can't townies exaggerate and want fake bravado? Townies want to be townread too. None of Seanzie's attacks that I've read so far can't be explained by tilted townie.Alison wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 12:57 amI've called bunch of people (LC, c4, fingersplints) town and have openly said that I do not believe nook/Esooa is scum with you two (which means I don't suspect them right now).
You seem to be suspiciously confident that I'm batting 0 when I've expressed scumreads on 3 people and if you're town you should only know the alignments of one of them. Hell, you seem to believe that I'm batting 0 even though one of the people I'm wolfreading is BK, your top scumread until now.
You're lying through your teeth and faking this bravado about the thunderdome.

I find LC’s reasoning kinda weak and flimsy, but not too crazy for a day 1 vote. So I don’t think my problem sits with LC’s vote, but with having two others follow it for little reason. The suspicion can easily be deflected back to LC for “starting” the case, and then you have the whole Alison/seanzie drama. Idk just seems an easy situation for mafia to hide in.
Especially since earlier when I asked about LC’s current game style and got this:

Re: Bee Mafia [DAY 1]
I agree with this, her scum read on me is relying on BK AND Seanzie being scum. That’s an awful lot of assumption to be made on day 1. I haven’t read BK’s posts but Seanzie’s defense I have liked as well. So congrats, on being my first two town readsKylemii wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 2:37 am seanzie is right that many of alison's reads are reliant on her read on him, which is an unusual amount of confidence for of a day 1 read. if alison is mafia and seanzie town, alison benefits from this by putting in work that ends up not mattering nor pushing the game forward, needing to be redone.
seanzie's point's about alison possibly lucking into a correct scumread on the people she's connected him to due to her read on him, seems inconsistent with the idea that seanzie also suspects alison

I don't think she's in any way scummier than seanzie though, and reading about all of this is a bit boring.
I kinda want to vote seanzie just to get this over with and not have to concern myself with it on D2. I personally think some of his actions are quite scummy but a select few of his arguments seems to ring genuinely dumb and poorly thought-out to me at a glance either due to confbias or otherwise as a result of being town. In the event of any fantasy thunder-dome though I would likely almost always vote Seanzie here and even if he flipped green I don't think that would be damning for Alison, and would require closer analysis. If he flipped red though, I would give say a 85% chance that Alison is town bc while its not impossible to hard-push teammates on D1 its generally not the first push of D1 imo and experience, much less a 1st post being an almost bare-bones vote.
I liked Long Con's earlier point about Falcon45ca, but I am slightly suspicious of TS jumping onto that wagon as a sheep. It kinda implies that he has no scum-reads but apparently had enough trust in a vote-count tell to put Seanzie in a town-core. Seems like he would vote people for weak reasons (if he was independently scum-hunting and not sheeping) just as he town-cores for weak reasons but doesn't.

Well that’s the point LC. I don’t fault you for a flimsy vote day 1. What I do find strange is a couple players following a flimsy vote day 1 for no reason other than just to follow you.
Voting for someone for sheeping someone isn’t a damning case either, but again, day 1 and this is what I got

Re: Bee Mafia [DAY 1]
My first set of ISOs are done. Going to get some more out later.
Alison - Definitely the strongest ISOs I have read thus far. After going through Alison's ISO, they're one of my strongest town leans going into N1. It made me laugh out loud reading someone describe my "scumrange". I didn't even know I had a scumrange until I read that. Overall I felt like Alison made some good reads, and some good points all around. Wasn't afraid to get out there and make some noise.
C4 - This one felt underwhelming. I definitely thought it was going to be longer. Nothing in c4's ISO really popped out to me. Seeing their posts in thread with the context makes me give c4 a slight town lean
Esooa - Only one interaction/post(s) really popped out to me in Esooa's ISO. Esooa gave a 4 person PoE and encouraged everyone to vote within that PoE. Her very next vote was out of the PoE shae gave, and told people to vote in. I'm not 100% convinced that is AI, but the lack of consistency if you will rubbed me the wrong way.
Falcon - One of the more lackluster ISOs so far. It was a short and boring ISO. It felt like Falcon was trying to play a nice safe game.
Finger - Another short ISO, but I actually liked this one. I would like to see more from Finger, I found their posts insightful and added value to the game.
So far my PoE is Falcon and Esooa
