Because if I think Marmot is the wolf then what? I vote you and we flip it three ways?
Marmot has to be made to vote for you or to explain wtf he is doing.
I don't know how the tiebreaker works, but I assume we win this game if the person who is mafia receives 0 votes and at least one townie receives a vote. As such. What is the issue with me voting for you? Why do you feel the need to play kingmaker? You've maintained all game that you have no idea what's going on, so why are you suddenly calling the shots in F3?
If you're town, it's actually kinda dangerous for Gav and I to vote each other. Mafia could remove their vote at the last second, guaranteeing that they'll at least end up in a tie situation, if not a win.

Same can be said for you though if your wolf.
If luck didn’t place a vote you just Unvote luck then you win because I voted you.
So there is no difference how you to about the voting today the only thing we need to make sure happens is town gets hit today and not wolf or else we lose.
We could probably go back and forth all day about which strategy is optimal, but in the end it's hard to determine since we don't know who the wolf is, and so the optimal strategy is different depending who's eyes we're looking through.
I feel it makes the most sense for each person to vote the person they think is towniest (or least scummy). In the ideal world, the townies find each other and the wolf is fucked. In a less than ideal world, that doesn't happen. But it does given each person a little more say in the matter.
Yes we could end the day in a 3-way tie. That probably isn't optimal, given the unknown factor of tiebreakers, so maybe we can recalculate if that is the world we end up in, but I think we should at least try that and see where we end up.

If you think I'm the wolf you probably shouldn't be voting for me.
I think your least likely to be the wolf here as I already stated.
If you think it’s only “Town or Wolf” chose! I’m sorry bud but I can’t give you a straight answer. If you don’t like it too bad.

Well Marmot is probably not going to be here for the rest of the day.
It’ll probably rand between Marmot or Luck giving us a 50/50 chance to win so I’m not entirely against that idea.
@Luckbox Inc
If your town it’s in your best interest to vote me for the “2/3” chance.
If your scum it’s probably in your best interest not to as it goes from 50/50 to 2/3.
“GATHER ROUND, YOU PROTEIN-BASED PEONS,” THE GAME declared. The three remaining trainees approached the site of where the crystal jars had most recently been. They really had no other distinct place in which to congregate, as THE GAME’s voice was omnipresent.
“YOU PROTAGONISTS REALLY DID IT! YOU SOMEHOW MANAGED TO MAKE IT THIS FAR, ONLY TO SNATCH DEFEAT FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY. YOU HUMANS HAVE FOUND A NEW LOW TO SINK TO. HA-HA! HA! HA!
“IN YOUR QUEST TO IDENTIFY YOUR ALLIES, YOU HAVE LET YOUR SIMULATED ENEMIES OUTSMART AND DEFEAT YOU. PREPARE FOR A MOST UNCOMFORTABLE DEBRIEFING WITH THE GENERAL.
“TO THE ANTGONISTS- WELL DONE, BUT DON’T BE TOO PROUD OF YOURSELVES. THE PROTAGONISTS DIDN’T MAKE THINGS TOO HARD ON YOU.
“NOW IT’S TIME FOR US TO LEAVE THIS SLEEPY AUSTRALIAN TOWN AND BRING OUR SIMULATION TO A CLOSE.”
With that, the scenery vanished. The white oblivion slid down in the distance to reveal the trainees who had already been removed from the simulation. Those who were antagonists were smiling. Those who had been protagonists looked sheepish and dejected. All at once, each trainee saw everything else vanish from sight. Colors streaked before them, and then blackness.
One by one, they woke up back in the real world, all on the same side again. Their vitals were checked and cleared. One the wake-up procedure had completed for all 15 of them, a new voice permeated the room.
“Alright soldiers,” General Jarvis barked. “March your asses into the debriefing room. We’ve got a lot to talk about and I am not happy.”
“HA-HA! HA! HA!”
----------------------
GAVIAL HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE SIMULATION.
GAVIAL WAS TRAINEE #6, VANILLA MAFIA.
THE MAFIA TEAM HAS WON THE GAME.
THE TIE-BREAKING MECHANISM FOR THE GAME WAS PLAYER POST COUNT.
Marmot was definitely the MVP there.
I knew Marmot had no plan to vote me at all.
Marmot didn’t TR me at all and he just called me a “night kill for mafia” after the NAA flip. Fortunately he was scum read enough by Wigly I could pull it through and also be the only player in the game to confident town read him lol.

I thought it was unwinnable for mafia due to the assumption that no town with 1/2 a brain would force a tie in final 3.
A tie is better then voting the scum read.
(Assuming Luck SR Marmot and didn’t SR me.)

Incorrect. Abstaining from voting would've been the move over a tie/SR vote

Dunno if I'd call myself mvp. I did lead a chop on one scum and TR another.
But I did find you today, so sure I'll take credit for that, even if it didn't work out haha. Unfortunately Luckbox didn't quite get there

Lol idk if you read in spec chat Marmot, but we were doing the same thing, just trying to get each other to F3.
Lol so both of you pretended to SR each other when you both really TR’ed each other? Lol.
