Joseph prides himself on being good at mafia. He currently thinks I am mafia. Gonna omgus and lean Joseph as mafia here for scumreading me. Not as direct omgus, but more based on the fact that he should be able to read me as town. Granted I havent been very towny, but even so.

This post itself likely to get me more scumread. oh well.

Game is easier if I am scumread because when everyone pockets me as clear town, the game is harder. OMGUS to find the mafia usually isnt a terrible strategy.

For reference, I have exactly 1 forum game completed at this point in time where I rolled mafia. Only Nanook and Urist have seen it. The style of game on that forum is very different to here - not sure how much they can read into it. Kind of unfairly, I will probably always have a suspicion of Alison in every single game I play with them.

My second point on alison i am pretty sure is NOT a lie. That is that they claim mafia on day 0/1 - pretty sure Alison did this in Lion King as town and they did it in this game as well. My point remains that if she will do this as town, she must do this as mafia as well for balance reasons.

Nutella - said already lean them town for giving me a light town read. Nutella would be better of giving a light townread to a more persuasive and consensus townread player in this group to pocket them and build a town circle with them in it, rather than me who is pretty isolated in terms of being scumread by a lot of people.

Tutuu - people are townreading them, which is okay I guess. I have seen tutuu be way townier than this, and now I have to worry she might be mafia WITH Alison. Not going to vote on them today because they do lean town, but I got to keep an eye on Tutuu instead of locking them as town and not really re-considering again for later.

TSP - just gives me town vibes currently - not super strong, not voting them.

Mac/Josepgh - lolcat style a bit, reminds me of space invaders. Think will vote them today.

Other people - dont have much on them, mostly new people or low postcount people. Need to read a bit more and think about them.

It doesnt matter what alignbment Alison is for Day 1, because I am not voting them day 1 today. It is beneficial for my alignment if alison stays alive at the moment.

So another thing - I was carefully tracking the Nanook shrug or lack thereof. I hate that carot mentioned it because now Nanook is doing it at his usual frequency.

Still not sure what the lack of shrugs meant previously.

On level 1 it means carot and Nanook are not wolf wolf since they could have just communicated the lack of shrugs in btsc. However since btsc is enabled in all cycles maybe it's a double bluff so we I correctly assume they can't be wolf wolf by making the post in the thread. Did a quick iso of carot and then realised I have no point of reference for a scum game.

I don't really read any of their posts as scummy except one. The problem is that the one post I find scummy is their huge reads list and in that one we disagree a lot. Could be my reads are wrong, their reads are wrong, or we are both wrong. Can't scumread them yet and lean them town.

They are focussing more on players they have played with before on TS (looks like it to me anyway). It's exactly what I am doing as well since its way easier to sort players you have played with before.

Nothing specific but I wanted to see what my vote did for wagonomics. As far as I can tell it made the rest of the wagon evaporate.

I feel like these players have done nothing that I think is plausibly likely to ping the number of people they have as being scummy (obviously even the most townie player will get some suspicion thrown their way here and there but I see a reasonable amount of proto/Amy scum ideas being thrown around). They are really unobjectionable players and keeping entirely to their town meta and I sort of suspect that they are being attacked because they have less of an ability to defend themselves.

Also I hate this beetlejuice from you so I'm going to vote you again.

Disagree with your interpretation on proto/Amy being ""easy"" pushes, proto scum idea has been thrown around but he has literally 0 vote on him and Amy is mostly consensus townread, Mac already retracted his scumread almost immediately after and Nanook was just sheeping him so meh.
It feels like you're purposefully being a bit off track to start a push/discredit/discourage people that are scumreading them. For example, you've mentioned me as someone who has pushed proto but that's pretty much it, you're mostly casting shade on a kinda nebulous pool of players without actually digging in them.

I think my points about TH's scumminess are fairly straightforward and easy to understand. TH has been anti-town; TH knows they're anti-town and refuse to change. TH has voted a very easy/lazy push for bad reasons. TH ghosted the thread for a bit and then came back to defend themselves when I called them out. These are behaviors that are, in a vacuum, objectively scummy. Any one of them could be defensible (especially the anti-town bit if that's just their meta like people said) - but taken altogether, it paints a poor picture of TH. Whatever you think about me and my vote for TH, these are facts about TH's behavior that you can evaluate the truth of for yourself.

Also if it helps you understand my decision to ask you to sheep me on TH better, I simply figured that taking a vote from someone I know to be town and putting it on someone I heavily suspect of being scum is definitely a positive development.

hmn I mean, I'm not saying Sabie is wrong but from what I've seen from tedxtr in Pyre and you from Space Invaders/Lion King you're not similar at all. You said you've looked at previous games from him, which games is it? Do you have a read on him outside of "meta"?

Also, you said you disagreed with my readlist. What exactly are you disagreeing with?

I get that nutella flipping V makes tutuu look bad, but the 112 flip already made her look awful and nutella look good. There's not really that much more damage that could be done by flipping nut.

This is entirely for non gamestate reasons. Tutuu likes nutella and wouldnt want them to die early. That was my thinking anyway.

There's loads of things I do as mafia which are suboptimal to maximise my enjoyment in a game.

I get that nutella flipping V makes tutuu look bad, but the 112 flip already made her look awful and nutella look good. There's not really that much more damage that could be done by flipping nut.

This is entirely for non gamestate reasons. Tutuu likes nutella and wouldnt want them to die early. That was my thinking anyway.

There's loads of things I do as mafia which are suboptimal to maximise my enjoyment in a game.

I don't want to vote tutuu today but can some people give their views? This whole submissive "will sheep towncore votes" feels off to me. I don't scumread them enough to vote them but it doesn't feel right or normal. Anyone else?

I feel like carot is still trying to solve my slot so want to lean them town still and won't vote them today. Also they might make a cool presentation again and who wants to miss that?

Mac - still undecided on. They seem to be going powertown mode now for some reason. They aren't being super sussed following 111 flip anyway so maybe this is the example of "sometimes Mac just spews himself town"?

I don't have a strong read on TSP but I don't see the reason Mac super scumreads them. They have more meta together I guess. Is anyone other than Mac super scumreading them?

I can never read Urist at all and when I try, I am still wrong so never going to "make a case" against them and lead a charge for their head.

I would probably be okay flipping turnip/Dr today. I don't read too much into interactions or votes or kills etc. Just vote scummy kinda people. This is nothing scummy Dr has done btw, all turnip head. Maybe that's bad but unless I see wagons forming threatening my townreads or it becomes clear my vote is a useless vanity vote, I'm okay parking my vote there for now.

Firstly he arbitrarily accuses me of being the busser and when that went nowhere, he flips to town reading me and lands on Amy instead. I consider this behaviour well aligned with what I'd expect from a mafioso that lost a teammate day 1 voting on them. I consider it severely misaligned with how a town on a successful wagon would view that wagon.

TSP has the most wolfy agenda of anyone in the game. It is not hard at all to see many of his decisions as mafia agenda.

In another world: Mafia places a vote onto 112, not for the purpose of bussing day 1, but for future town credit in case 112 flips later in the game to say "look I voted on mafia day 1!". As it actually turned out, 112 got flipped day 1 and mafia felt trapped into keeping the vote on 112. Theres no reason why that isnt also a plausible world.

TSP pushing amy as mafia is just weird and unlikely to be mafia TSP. Its unlikely to get traction from how I read the gamestate. TSP probably needs to explain their reasoning on the push onto Amy for it to stick with me. A push i dont agree with doesnt make TSP mafia though.

i dont super like looking into the night kill or votes because of all of the potential wifom with flips on. I prefer to just keep voting on people I think are likely to be mafia.
