I understand. Kudos to all the daddies who work hard, stressful, tedious, boring, annoying, (fill in the blank) jobs to support their families. I know my Epi has to deal with a lot of crap at work, but I am so thankful as it allows me to stay home and school our children while running my own business from home. And yes, daycare IS crazy expensive. When our kids weren't in formal school yet, we decided it was so expensive it was better for me to stay home with them and keep a few extra kids than for me to work full time and pay for daycare. I've been home ever since. Started my own cake business, homeschool our kids, and enjoying almost every moment of it

I don't think epi and I have ever been in a situation like this in our years of mafia together.

mm seems busy lately. zebra seems like she could be a laying low baddie, not sure. sock scares me a little. I thought he was civ, but I am easily wary of posts like he came in and made today. He very well could be quiet in teh thread by active in his BTSC/night actions.

I can be seen as inconsistent because I don't always explain my thought processes well. And players tend to think I say things that sound baddie all the time even when I am civ. I've learned not to get my panties in a wod about it because then they think even worse of me.

Why would you choose Wilgy over anybody else to analyze? There's a lot of dead people who have been killed by civilians. Any of those could be mafia. Wilgy: The guy you say is zanier than MM. What would you even hope to attain from reading his (super zany) posts? And how would that help you understand Dom? Wilgy mentioned Dom twice. Once when Dom had seven votes, and once to say "I don't trust Jack. I didn't trust Jack before the Dom thing."

You think Wilgy (or his team) "Sir cursed" you and that was "triple WIFOM?" Again, you're the constant in Long Con's theory. For that to be true, Wilgy would have to be your teammate.

I still like my theory about the dead checker though. That's just too many damn coincidences lined up in a row.

When I said I would should do an ISO thingy, I was half kidding. I actually have done a few of those before, but they don't do much for me. And I finally understand what you mean by me being the constant. That would mean I Wilgy was my teammate. Haha, I don;t know why I didn't understand what you were saying. I wouldn't say any of the underlined if we were on a baddie team together. I would avoid having to defend my teammates. It's just how I play. When I first started playing mafia, I would get a little angry (not a lot, but just a bit), if a teammate would call me out in the thread. Now I welcome it. You don't want to show who your teammates are by always defending them. You also don't want to avoid them altogether either. I *think* I have learned how to tell myself, "you are civ and you have no teammates" when I am bad. And I have some games to prove that I have gotten better at it.

not quoting your post, but yes, it didn't take much for me to jump on Glorf/Sprit. I have been bad with Glorf before and no offense to him, he is difficult to be a baddie with. He won't lie. He hates being a baddie. So, when I found out he replaced out, I thought....he must have been bad and couldn't take it anymore. I can spot a bad Glorf very easily.

Why is 'strange' bad? But yes, I always start with recent posts and then go back and catch up later. It's just usually less noticeable because I usually have more time. There's more value in me commenting on the now than the five days ago.

I'm on holiday with my extended family, with only a phone that I'm trying to avoid (so I'm not antisocial) for checking this game. Frankly, I'm glad that I'm town so that I don't feel obliged to be absolutely caught up and acting tactically.

I understand you wanting to spend time with family and not be a jerk on your phone the whole time. However, if you are civ like you say, the underlined statement deserves am Oh, gee, thanks from me and our fellow civs.

In other news we only have like 14 players left, We are down at best 4 civs, at worst 10. So we really need to buckle down and agree on a vote this phase.

Golden is acting strange this game. His tone, his attitude, etc is all off, imo. I would never think he would be one to come in, read the last 5 posts or so and comment on those but start reading from where he left off.

Dom is accusing me of doing the same thing when that is not what I do. I do not come in, read the last 5 most recent posts, and the comment. I start from where I left off and then post/comment before I have to go again. I can usually read everything and catch up. Sometimes, I cannot. Sometimes I have to post and then catch up more later and post again. This is NOT the same thing I referred to when talking to Goldren.

Dom seems a bit irrational since he has come back. He doesn't seem to be reading and understanding before flying off the handle.

Golden seems irrational too.

Dom and Golden are my top two suspects.

First I will respond, then I will point out how little you care about being consistent or genuine in your criticism.
You have not explained why you think I came back bad. You won't and cannot because you have no basis for this. I didn't post for 1 day for the following reasons: a) to give people i asked to give me a summary time to do so (which they did not) and b) because it was new year's eve and i had plans. Your immediate jump to me being bad and your biggest suspect such that you kept declaring you'd vote for me if you could (which you could have) makes no sense and is based in nothing but.... wanting me out of the game? Why? This is a pretty gross milkshake you're making for me.
Now, let's analyze that clusterfuck of a post.
1) Criticizes Golden for posting without catching up.
2) Suspects me but doesn't criticize me for doing the same thing.
3) Does the exact same thing herself.
Elohcin has no actual stance on Golden doing this other than the fact that she wants Golden dead.

1)No...I was talking about coming by in and posting on a few recent posts when he hadn't read previous posts. I am going in order, responding to things in order, understanding context and what is going on.

I do sympathize with that. BR and I have an agreement that we don't really pay attention to each other for the first half of the game, and that's what I tell people when they ask my opinion of her. The baddie tick I got from that is that it seemed like you were setting up Snow Dog for a lynch for a joke, that you were pushing the "Snow Dog is lying and so he's bad" angle that I think is really weak. Opportunistic, as in you saw the opportunity to push a dude's lynch and took it.

FWIW, I was being genuine Day 0. At first, I thought Snow was serious about not reading his role. And then I thought, well, maybe he did, is bad, and is lying so if he is found suspicious, he can say "well, my behavior cannot be baddie behavior since I don't even know my own alignment." But then I found out (I think Day 1) that it was some kind of joke from another game and so I let it go. In fact, I think it was Sir Epi that pointed that out to me and I was a little shocked. He is usually not that nice to me in Mafia. He likes to just let me struggle. Still not sure what to think of that. He isn't one for explaining things to me.
