Yo peeps, sorry I haven't been able to be as involved as I usually like. The weekend just ended, which is always my busiest time of the week.

Anywho, I really don't know what I can say to get peeps to take their votes off me or to prevent other votes from going on me. I realize many of my posts have been just for fun so far, and I've been very jokey so apologies all around, I guess haha.

sig - Been no uing me since I sussed him. I pointed out to him that even when I'm bad, I always defend him against getting lynched early, and so it should be obvi that my suss of him was genuine but I suppose he doesn't gaf.

Elohcin - Can you tell me exactly why you've voted for me today? I've seen you refer to me tunneling people in other games, but I'm not sure what that has to do with this game?

Scotty - Eh, Scotty always thinks I'm bad.

Quin - Voted me cuz of Scotty.

K.

Haha. Anyway, I'd like to vote for sig but I'm not sure which name is his on the poll, but I think I saw a list earlier so I'll go look around.

What you think is untrue. I am more involved in speed games where I can get my head around what is going on and keep up. I am less involved in big games b/c I have trouble keeping up. However, since 2016 has begun, I have only been in small games (except for one) and I have been equally involved in all of those small games whether good or bad.

As for the tunneling. Yes, I perceived Wilgy's actions as tunneling. It was only until I pointed it out, then he backed off a bit. But, that doesn't change the fact that it was tunneling to begin with and I stick by my theory. If Matt turns out to be bad, then I am almost sure that Wilgy is too.

@SVS, were you in the last game with Matt and me when he tunneled me? I have seen Matt tunnel, but I have never seen ANYONE tunnel like Matt did in that last game. He gets my vote, I don't plan on moving it.
S~V~S wrote:
Sure there is such a thing as civ behavior for individuals. Some more so than others depending on the situation. For the most part (everyone has exceptions) happy jolly joking Eloh has good BTSC; could be civ, could be bad. Cranky annoyed Eloh does not. This is mutually exclusive of tunneling. Based on this, not on tunneling, I would give only the bearest consideration to Eloh being bad. She seems annoyed in general with the way the thread is going ( :hugs: not a criticism, Eloh, just an observation) and whil I am OK with it, I can understand why.
You are right that I don't like the way the game is going. I love some lightheartedness in games. I like to hear how people are doing and what's new in their lives. I like joking around a bit. But I also like people to take the game seriously. I think its a waste of my time when players act stupidly or don't care. I think it's disrespectful to the host as well, who has put time into the making of the game. And I know you aren't criticizing. I think you've made a pretty good observation. However, I think I have become a better player this year (taking on only small games) and I think my "poker face" is better. I still don't know how Epi can always seem to read me, but I think my playing has become more neutral and I have less of a baddie vs civ game and more consistency whether I have BTSC or not. At least I like to think so :p

It is just my observation re lack of interest when you don't have BTSC, and it could be very wrong; I should have koala-fied it that way. But my observations on you point towards you being civ, to my mind, so don't argue my points too hard, lol.

And tbh, I don't specifically remember Matt & your dynamic in any specific game. Which one was it specifically? I will go take a look at it. I used to tunnel Matt a lot myself in the past. Sometimes when I try to learn to read someone better, I cut them too much slack, so I would like to see it. When Matt first started playing, he used to build tunnels to China. Now he only builds them to the Upper Mantle of the Earths crust most of the time. So that would be a tell for me, for sure.

hello I'm here. I see Matt is voting for me.

I believe I've already pointed this out, but I will again.

Kashira --- Kashira are Yubaba’s three bouncing and rolling pet heads. They grunt, but otherwise appear to be mute. --- Kashira may silently add a vote to any player during a lynch three times during the game.

Why didn't one more mafia member vote for matt and then use Kashira, or just use his power? The suspicion of llama would've no doubt faded. Also there was no movement by llama or really any player to lynch Matt over Llama. Llama only switched his vote last second to "save" himself. However, I believe this was done as a final distancing move when none of the other wagons took off.

I guess i was unclear, this happens em-bear-assingly often; sorry about that. What was off about his line of defense, and why would Matt flipping bad give you a stronger feel about DF?
His defense of Matt was not only soft core, but strange. It boiled down to him saying he disliked the amount of votes on Matt, hinting that Matt wasn't scum since he had so many votes. However, Matt only had what 3 votes at that point? I viewed that as fear mongering.

This is really weak WIFOM reasoning. Since you've in the past defended me as mafia and civ you trying to get me lynched this game means you're right and I'm mafia? I doubt you'd defend me when I suspect you to be mafia or tried to get you lynched. This seems like such a mafia reason to vote for and try to push a lynch.

Nah dude, I'm not saying I'm definitely right on you because in the past I don't like to lynch you early. But before, you said you didn't think I was being true about my suss on you (errr I think), and that's bogus.

Anyway, if I were to be spared today, I have two days off in a row starting tomorrow, and I'd love to contribute more, but I understand if I get voted off the island today.

Ah yes, the game where I was so pleased you trusted me before you turned on me,lol :hugs:

Between the constant pressure I was under in that game, having a no poster as a civ BTS partner, and being expertly betrayed by my oldest Mafia friend (bea, i will always remember :noble: ) I was in too grizzly a situation (Thanks Sloonei!) myself to notice. If Matt survives (and that is looking slimmer & slimmer a chance) I will definitely take a look at it.

And since I started this post and read further back up while in preview, I see that you said it was a different game, but like I said, with that post that must be ignored, I would guess Matt is a goner. I just didn't want to waste a good use of "grizzly" :D

If you're going to have that discussion, you should be asking whether a certain person would do this if they were civ. With that being said, other than my brief encounter with her in Turf Wars, I haven't played with Elohcin, so I have no idea whether she would or would not tunnel as she is.

@sig,no opinionon DF?
Yeah, that's pretty much what I meant.

Eloh angle! I present to everyone, the ELOVIDENCE!
Part one: Eloh's awakening into a life of crime
Elohcin wrote:So far I am seeing a lot of pointed fingers for what seem to be silly reasons and even silly thoughts about if this or that behavior means that person is bad. I'm not trying to pick on Matt here b/c there were others as well.
Matt wrote:

Also, is G-Man the type of player who always has some fun on Day 0/1, or should we be worried that his Haiku thing is some kind of sinister plot to destroy the town? Hrm.

Linki - Hi Scotty. Wanna team up again this game?
Last time I asked that of you and I was bad.

Does that mean you are bad this game?
Idk, everytime I've asked I've been good so...

@Elo ypu can't go wrong with a LC or G-Man vote...
I beg to differ
Trying to recall if your
Civ game is this gruff
So far I am reading LC and G-man as good. You had surgery? I hope everything is okay.

Wilgy, I see you voted for yourself. Why? I hate when people vote themselves. No offense, but I think its kind-of stupid. I usually end up voting for the person who voted himself.

Long Con, you are always so tricksy. I hope you are not tricking me today.
exactly my thoughts as I read this.-Agrees with Llama, possibly validating a teammates banter.

Back to misguided finger pointing, I think Wilgy seems the most wrong atm as I read through his posts.

I'm reading wah wah wah wah wah wah from sloon. -Claims all Sloon was doing was wah wah wah wah... when sloon was one of the leading pushers of teh Llama lynch. This is what had originally pinged me. Stating that Sloon was just wah wah-ing in the context of what the wah wah-ing really was means that Eloh was soft defending Llama here, without mentioning names.
thellama73 wrote:

Looking forward to your input, Eloh. What do you think of Wilgy, Long Con, Matt, Sloonei, and Soreji in particular?
I think wilgy is either misguided or bad. I think LC is a tricksy player but I am not seeing anything of too much concern so far. If you aren't seeing naything so far, why did you agree with Llama earlier? I think Matt is a nut :p, definitely a toss-up. I think sloonei is sounding like Charlie Brown's teacher. Tossing the "Ignoring this player card" on the one confirmed civ we have now, who was also a Llama lynch supporter still. We really ought to come up with a catchy word/phrase for this type of behavior. Its when someone is posting and using good amount of words but isn't saying much at all. Soreji? Did I miss his/her posts?

You try staying active in the thread while at a kids museum with three little constantly looking in all directions, counting to three over and over again. We were having family time, sir. But I am home now with a stupid bruised coccyx. I am no longer a teenage, that's for sure :/ So I will have plenty of time to be involved as I lie here on my side with ice on my butt.

SO I know this post wasn't super organized but more of a modge podge of my thoughts. But I have a three year old who keeps asking me to read him a book. So it is what it is.
Part 2: The death of a Llama
Elohcin wrote:Wow. Awesome result. I am also glad I was not around at the end. I may have voted to save llama b/c I am easily tricked by him.
Following Llama's death Eloh posts this. Now it's WIFOM to go into whether or not what Eloh would've done, but what part I believe is true is the fact Eloh wasn't here. If she is triple head bro, it would make sense that Llama wasn't saved.

Part 3: a respite...
Elohcin wrote:
DrWilgy wrote:*submits kill onto Matt*
Matt wrote:Wilgy, gimme a name and I'll submit it.
Is it wrong that I was to lynch wilgy and Matt even if they AREN'T bad?
This is when I feel Eloh truly hit hyper tunneler mode, even before the declaration of intent to tunnel. Feels bad to me considering my theory from earlier which I re-explain later.

Part 4: A declaration of war
Elohcin wrote:
DrWilgy wrote:
Sorsha wrote:
thellama73 wrote:What does DF have to do with any of this?
Nothing. It was a throw away vote on someone who had no votes. Sorry if you're civ but I didn't want to get involved in the close vote/ tie situation.
GOT iT!!! sriracha is a non-commital type of baddIE!!

Games solved! Lets eat CAKE!!!

Okay this is my theory. I think Matt is bad bad bad. I think Wilgy is bad bad bad. Last game I was in with Matt he was bad. He tunneled me like nothing I've ever seen before. Anyone remember that? He talked about no one and nothing by getting me lynched. I think he and Wilgy are bad together and I think he has convinced Wilgy in BTSC to tunnel me this game. I am voting Matt today. If he isn;t lynched, I will vote him tomorrow. And the next day. And once he is lynched I will go after Wilgy. If you hate that I am going to play the game this way, hate it. I don't care. I REALLY think I am right about this and I am not letting Matt survive all game as a baddie again.
So, notice between the past two quotes. Eloh had shifted from "Even if they aren't bad" to "bad bad bad and bad bad bad" I don't think the "Even if they aren't bad" was needed in the previous post, and was a contradiction caused by a baddies forced perspective that happened to slip into the thread.

The other big part about this argument that I still think merits baddie behavior is this: Eloh establishes quite dominantly in this post that she will begin to tunnel. Tunneling happens to be a part of the main suspicion towards me. I believe that it is a contradiction in itself to be made aware of baddies through an action and then decide to follow through the same action.

a small example of why this makes no sense to do can be like so: Civ A explains the faults in voting "no lynch" but then proceeds to vote "no lynch"

If a civillian is aware of baddie behavior or faults that lead to the belief of baddie behavior, would the civ CONSCIOUSLY participate in the self defined baddie behavior?

Part 5: The Threat
Elohcin wrote:
G-Man wrote:Call me crazy but

While it's not hostile at first glance, this is simply a threat on G-Man. Eloh is stating here in reaction to suspicion: "Do you want me to put you in the same baddie bin as Matt and Wilgy?" to dissuade G-man from pursuing.

And thass why I feel bad about Elo. Much love tho <3

I don't have any strong feelings on many right now.

I was almost entirely MIA on day one which was why I "was not sus of either llama or Matt." I didn't want to be a no show who shows up at the last minute and makes a deciding vote at the last minute. I had barely read the thread at that point.

For today I'm thinking either DF or Matt for the vote. I'm looking forward to LC being back in the thread tomorrow. So I'd say those are my top three right now. Other than that I have quite a few that I'm null on and a couple that I'm feeling okay about so far.

I think it is more than bearly possible Wilgy was forced to make a case?

Sometimes people force other people to do things they don't want to do. Especially in Mafia games. So to remind Wilgy that I am in solidarity with him just in case he is being forces to make a case on Eloh (and being forced to do anything~ what a Koalamity!!!) I am going to vote for him. So he knows my heart is with him in his bizarre and seemingly forced case on Eloh. I still trust you Wilgy! And I hope that tomorrow you can tell us what you really think :)

Linki @ Sorsha, do you have strong feelinga about matt, who made a possible baddie BTSC slip right before you posted earlier today?

I actually like the case Wilgy made on Eloh, in particular the subtle Llama defense and the possibility that she's the vote adder.

Procrastination is the word of the day, the week, the last weekend. Also, enjoying the very last bits of my spring break away from the computer as much as possible before going back to work today :sigh: kept me away. While not a bad day, it was definitely the Monday after break with the kids. Two more months. Two more months. So, here I am.

With thoughts.

Firstly, why are people jumping down LC's throat for suggesting that Wilgy might be the Stink Monster? Because of its specificity, I suppose? I was thinking myself that he was acting more...Wilgy-ish (new word), or crazier, possibly for attention. For what gains, I don't know. I'd like to see LC's further thoughts on this and response to others' reactions upon his un-piggified return.

Secondly, Eloh, you're famous and being discussed! I feel like this is a new trend (I think someone said this?). I can just see her getting irritated in front of the computer at how she can't win: she's either "trying too hard" in tunneling and going with her instincts, or she's detached and not into the game. She can't "act" civ enough, apparently :haha: Not really sure that that adds to the conversation, but the mental image of Eloh about to throw her laptop in frustration at this amuses me.

Lastly, I'm gonna go ahead and vote Matt. I've read through the thread, and not much has changed regarding my opinion about him. All over the place Day 1, and I think sig made some good points about both Matt's weak defense and about how the last lynch went down between llama and Matt (no other really strong movements towards other players, no obvious use of Kashira for a save, etc.). So, Matt it is.
