well, at least that was a quick catch up. I agree this game is less serious than usual at the moment. There are a lot of votes being thrown around. I personally like votes that are not changeable only because it forces players to think more about who they are voting for. There are no "pressure votes" and what not. As of right now, I can see why JJJ has the most votes (even though it's only 2). His excuses for not carrying the thread don't feel genuine. He is participating enough in another game he is in. I may vote that way but first I would like to hear from others more. I don't like to just throw votes around. Who here is born again?

Your thoughts are predicated on the comparison that my gameplay is similar to yours, specifically in that what is alignment indicative for you also is for me, but I don't think that's true. Would you say that we play similarly enough that such a comparison would prove meaningful? I wouldn't.

It's true I'm not in hardcore scum hunting mode yet, I'll give you that. I'm working my way there. Doesn't mean I'm mafia. If anything, whenever I'm mafia I always feel pressured to force that much earlier on. Instead I think my ISO displays that I'm trying to let it happen organically. I have nothing to hide.

I must admit that one thing on the back of my mind is that, despite how easily votes have formed on Jay and no solid reason to believe this is mafia Jay, I'm not entirely convinced Jay believed what he was saying in his responses to Quin. The verbiage seemed a bit over the top. Not exactly out of character though, and it's not inspiring for a vote, but something that's going through my mind at the moment nonetheless.

Other than that, I got a whole lot of nothing. I'll post a POE rainbow momentarily, but it's weak right now. Tough to judge most players' alignments based on the available content.

Looking at Jay's ISO now. I feel heavily conflicted because on the one hand, he has 3 votes and has seemingly made an effort to keep the game moving despite fighting some serious burnout. That points to town Jay.

On the other hand, I feel like I don't understand what happened to Jay's progression of his reads to some extent. He seemed to genuinely suspect Elo:

She may have genuinely misunderstood me, but her interpretation given her understanding is hard to take seriously. And this suspicion stemmed entirely from Elo's treatment of him. He immediately discarded it as fake.

That is a read. If I have cause to say that you look distinctly worse than someone else in any dialogue, then that means at least one thing that you said in that dialogue rubbed me the wrong way -- enough to render you an orange.

I’m all for good D1 traditions that don’t get you lynched D1, but this isn’t just a D1 tradition for him either. He will often self vote later too, and he guzzles WIFOM like he’s at an orchard tasting.

I do smell distancing though, if in fact Jay is bad. Honestly, Nova and Elo's votes could both be distancing in that event, because they do not seem grounded in reality.
