ONWARD AND UPWARD

The dusty Australian town was quiet. It was hard to tell if the setting for the simulation was matching the effort of the trainees or if the effort of the trainees was matching the setting for the simulation.

Most of the lively trainees had already moved down the hall and to the left. As for the remaining ones, there were signs of life, but not too many.

"Well this is just great," one trainee said. "We're wandering through town all day and nobody has much of anything to say?"

A few of the trainees acknowledged them with shrugs of indifference.

"Screw it," another said. "Let's just vote now and be done with it."

"FINE BY ME," THE GAME said, making the crystal jars appear once more- this time along the side of the road. "YOU HUMANS DISAPPOINT ME. IF YOU'RE NOT ANNOYING ME WITH YOU SAD ATTEMPT AT WITTY BANTER, YOU'RE ANNOYING ME WITH YOUR SILENCE."

A few of the trainees cast their votes, while others shrugged with indifference. Perhaps General Jarvis would let THE GAME feast upon some of these soldiers after all. He was known to be harsh in showing his disappointment. Being torn apart molecularly is about as harsh a punishment as the human mind can comprehend, but the General had resisted going that far up to now. These troops were in the club already, but they were not exhibiting Eagle Talon effort, so maybe a little death would be warranted and serve as a wake-up call to the other troops watching from the outside.

The crystal jars vanished and the trainees waited. A thin slice of white appeared about chest level. The trainees looked overtop of it, but saw nothing. When they peered under it, they saw the white oblivion in all its glory.

"TRAINEE #14," THE GAME clamored, "PLEASE CLIMB UP IN AND JOIN YOUR PEERS ON THE SIDELINE."

Trainee #14 crouched and stood up into the white hole. Doing so cause them to vanish from the waist up from the vantage point of the remaining trainees. It was eerie. They watched as one leg slipped upward into nothingness and then the other slide away after it.

The remaining trainees woke up gingerly, their bodies stiff from sleeping along the road. In the evening they walked out of town, bored of its dilapidated attractions. The heat of the day gave way to a chilly overnight, but they soldiered on much as soldiers do.

One trainee looked up at the sign post he had rested against for the last few hours. Anarchie Road it said. Charming, he thought. He turned to his peers and noticed that something was off. There were only five of them when there should have been six.

“Where’s Trainee #8?” he asked.

Everyone looked around. Some scanned the horizon. There was no trace of their compatriot.

“TRAINEE #8 WAS RELIEVED OF DUTY BY THE REMAINING ANTAGONIST AMONG YOU. I FIGURED HE WASN’T MAKING A BIG SPLASH IN OUR SIMULATION ANYWAY, SO WHY SHOULD HE GET A BIG FANCY DEPARTURE SCENE?”

“Well,” another trainee said, “the crazy black saucer isn’t wrong.”

“IF BEING ME IS WRONG,” THE GAME said, “I DON’T WANT TO BE RIGHT. HA-HA! HA! HA!”

You've maintained a number of times that you haven't read up on the game, and don't know what's going on. But you have opted to sheep NAA, a player that you townread. But I don't understand why you townread him if you have no clue what's going on.

I'm also asking you to think about the strategy critically and tell me if you agree with it. I read back through the start of Day 4. Gavial, ignoramus, Dolby, and myself said that we should vote off town today. NAA was the only one who suggested voting off scum. This is a response to your statement "I thought people were posting it." about the strategy of voting off scum today.

If your town and really think Marmot is scum, wouldn’t it make more sense to want to vote me out so I don’t vote Marmot In F3?

I said I wanted to live for awhile to figure out this game, I’ve live that while. Tbh I was surprised I didn’t die during the night.
I’ll tell you what, I’m pretty sure the game can be solved pretty easy from here without me or be solved better without me or wouldn’t matter now without me. It’s like we are at that state of the game where most things are set in stone such as how You and Marmot both SR each other and if both of you are Town we could lose this game.

I also think Marmot should be gone today as well due to the fact of Wigly is scum and brings Luck with them, Wigly probably wins.

Like from a Scum!DoO perspective I can see why they go Dolby.
I voted them yesterday and they know I could have easily done so today.
They know how bad Luck looks from NAA’s death.
They know that Marmot and Wigly are practically in a thunderdome.

Which means the only person that could take the win away from her is the wild inactive card that is Dolby.

So the world makes sense and still exists even if it isn’t the case.
