Re: Escape From Russia [Day 2]
LC, you are my friend and I have nothing but the utmost respect for you, TSP too for that matter, but thwarting scum plans is all I want to do in life, and thus I voted for you. I hope you can forgive me.

DETOUR
Saturday, May 30th, 2020
6:18 a.m. MSK
6:18 a.m. MSK
"Who was she?" Sidney asked. "you've spent more time getting to know them than I have."
"Irinushka was an aspiring journalist and blogger," Chelsea said. "She became a minor celebrity in the anti-Putin youth movement thanks to her blogging."
"Yeah, well, it looks like Putin's reach caught up to her," Sidney said, showing Chelsea the dead woman's neck.
The train was rolling again, leaving Liski behind them. The other travelers were distraught this morning. Another two of them dead? How many more would die following these Americans?
"Look at Ilya's skin!" one man said. "He has boils all over him. This is not the COVID sickness!"
"They're called lesions, technically," Chelsea corrected. "And you're right. It's not the Coronavirus. This is something more... sinister."
"Curious," Sidney said while examining the corpse.
"What is it?" Chelsea asked.
"Look at this," he said, pointing to a spot behind Ilya's ear.
"That's a mole, Sidney."
"No it's not. Look closer. It's a tattoo."
"Well I'll be damned," Chelsea said. "Why would anyone have a tattoo that looks like a mole?"
"It's identifying mark," Sidney said.
"Pardon?" Chelsea asked.
"In the 1970s both the CIA and the KGB started putting a small, subtle tattoo on their agents. For some reason, the CIA put their mark inside their agents' ass crack. The KGB, however, chose behind the ear. Our friend Ilya here is just about old enough to have been a young agent when the Soviet Union collapsed. I bet he continued on in the Russian Federation's service."
"Shouldn't he have retired by now?" Chelsea asked.
"He doesn't look quite 60 yet. That's the minimum retirement age in Russia these days," Sidney said as he rummaged through Ilya's gear. "Now where did he get this, I wonder?" he asked, pulling out a smartphone.
"I think he stole it from someone in Penza," one of the travelers said.
"Look at this everybody," Sidney shouted, holding the phone up high. "Ilya betrayed you. He's a Russian agent. He stole this phone and turned on its tracking app. I wouldn't be surprised if he notified his higher ups so they could track him through this phone."
"So they know where we are?" someone asked.
"Yes," Chelsea said. "But not for long."
"What about Irinushka?" another asked. "Was she an agent too?"
"No," Sidney said. "She was strangled in her sleep, just like Stanislav, only not by Ilya."
"You mean..."
"That's right," Sidney barked. "Ilya wasn't acting alone. At least one more of you is working against us. I should just kill you all right now, but I promised Yuri to get as many of you out of Russia as I could. Just know that I'll be watching you."
Fear gripped the travelers. Another traitor among them? Who could it be?
"Now leave the bodies, leave the phone, and everyone get off this damn train. It'll reach Voronezh in about three hours. That's not much of a head start, but it's all we've got going for us right now."
-----------------------------
Vulgard is dead.
He was Irinushka Pichugin, an escaped political prisoner and vanilla civvie.
TonyStarkPrime succumbed to the virus.
He was Ilya Skoblin, an Russian intelligence agent in disguise as an escaped political prisoner.
It is now Day 3.
You have 48 hours to eliminate someone.
Re: Escape From Russia [Night 2]
I am convinced LC is bad. His approach toward me in particular is manufactured. I view him as someone eager to take advantage of someone he knows isn't keen on this anymore. I think he tried to take advantage of that with my predecessor and found an easy way to carry that "suspicion" over when I joined.
There was a moment where he played the politician in that regard. My presence doesn't change the role I have. And notice that his commentary about me dissipates into an even longer commentary about Tony and then a "maybe this would be more helpful."
It's bullshit. Long Con knows I'm a civilian. He's mafia.

Tone she can fake. We’ve all seen her do it.
Commitment to the game? She’s literally said she doesn’t care about it.
Genuine reactions and process? She’s just Ben throwing her hands up and saying “Everyone’s town IDK”.

Re: Escape From Russia [Day 1]
Why single Tony out for this question?
Reminder to self to study ted more closely.112 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 11:39 amOH right I wolfed with him in AmdibalsTonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 11:38 amYeah, he was a wolf and he tricked me. But I found him in a few games after, then he was a wolf in abdimals and was null all game. I dunno. Maybe to save for later.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 11:34 amCounterpoint, I almost always feel this way about Ted. Well, this isn't true. I dunno. I seem to recall having a good streak of finding him as town earlier in the year after GoC. He was a wolf in GoC, right
From what I've read of 112's interactions with TSP, I don't know why this is the case.
Perhaps the context keeps eluding me, but I still can't fathom why 112 is isolating TSP for questions about individuals.
This is a curious thing to say. "The mafia is doing a good job unless they are not."
112 accused ted of trying to kill an innocent Tony. I have to revisit this.

not gonna let you die here pal
there's too much living left for you to do
get angry imo. tell the thread how bad they are for voting you. they gotta see the emotion else they not going to budge
All right.
What is Tony's "town self" and why did your gut say this?
To me this is overboard. If Tony is behaving like a civilian Tony would, then that is all that needs to be said. Why tack on an additional independent clause about your gut?

What didn't sit right about that?
Why bring up that you liked two particular posts (but said nothing about them or why you liked them) and then tacked on something about "going through his ISO though in hindsight..."112 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 11, 2020 3:55 pmTonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 11:10 amThe bolded is always a weird thing to think about. I think because Dunya expressed it directly here maybe it's more likely to come from town? Level 1 is it means w!dunya because t!dunya gets mad at me for an incorrect read, but I don't think Dunya plays like that.dunya wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 4:23 am sorry guys, i was feeling pretty lousy and turns out i had some food poisoning and im still a little out of it but im here

ted
i wanna say my strongest town reads are nanook and longcon tbh. my weakest wolf read is ted, so i will not vote for him until day 3 at least.
the person i think most likely could swing w from my t reads is vulgard for possible tmi, but i will eventually read up (or not) see what he has to offer.
high poster hally in a vacuum should be town, but i felt like she was gaslighting us with questions and content which she doesn't really build from. like they're prods and questions which she doesn't really care about one way or the other.
don't really know much about tsp, except he didn't like one of my posts and i like that reaction. no idea if triplehaven has posted yet, i'll get there.
wilgy im giving a soul town read to.
It's a decent looking poe though. Neither of arete or vulgard. I think scum who's skimming would throw one in.
Also, TR on LC. Spicy.
I'll move my vote for now.liked these postsTonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 11:14 am112 is going after Vulgard for his cases, particularly parts where it's claimed that he's repeated ideas that others have stated. But generally I think this is inaccurate. Vulgard seems to be in some ways the least conventional person in the game, he's playing it differently. Stilted, maybe. But not repetitive. Hypothesis then, there's a common case that Vulgard has picked up on that implicates a partner of 112. 112 seeks to discredit this general case by discrediting Vulgard.Hally wrote: ↑Thu Oct 08, 2020 4:49 amhow?TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 11:53 pmthis feels chainsaw-y.112 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2020 12:18 pmBy the bolded I mean that he keeps bringing things up that he's already said before, such as that he doesn't like the posters who claimed maf. It seems like he's trying to write every read he has out to such a detailed extent that nobody can question the work he's put in/the quality of his thoughts, but it just comes out looking like he's trying very hard to remember the reasons he's scumread peope--something that town don't have to do because they've already internalized their opinions.
Feels weak tbh but it's something. If like Tutuu is scum I think that'd be a strong association
going through his ISO though in hindsight he doesn't look as good as he does when reading through the thread
What hindsight? You're making this up. You didn't do this.
