So... I know I didn't post much as well... but the amount of brain power this gamed used was too much for me... I may just end up being a doctor for the next 1 or 2 games while it's on cool down... so... ლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ)
<3 you Russ and team! Hopefully we can be a team together soon! I wonder where Bcornett is... I kinda feel bad for offing him the way I did...
Rico, did you really not know about rocks that I had given y'all? or did you not get rocks? I played so hard around rocks, but that play didn't even work!!! ლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ)

Sloonei and I have decided that we will be ending Nights as soon as possible after they have started going forward until the game is complete, in the interest of wrapping up this endgame. The amount of Night actions we need is getting way too low to keep the phases 24 hours with potentially 4 or less players remaining.
If this is going to be a scheduling problem, PM me and Sloonei.

I wanted to save fuzz is the constant.Ricochet wrote:You never verbalized that.DrWilgy wrote:I thought that my thinking it was a bad idea was implied on the basis of it being a save.
If I agreed with the Sig lynch, then I wouldn't had even declared it as a save, rather I would've just voted.
Seeing that I had my vote on Choutas for a majority of that day and me vocalizing my thoughts on him, until near EOD, my vote makes sense in the fact that it would've been a waste otherwise. At least with my vote on Sig, I was gambling on my belief that Fuzz wasn't a baddie.
You have your vote on Choutas for two hours and 42 minutes, during the late stages of the Day. I don't have an earlier vote from you on Choutas in my spreadsheets.
An hour before voting Sig, you said this:
So you DID have an intent to rally people against someone you actually suspected. But then, you went with the save on a player you hardly mentioned, let alone suspected. Sorry, but you willfully contributed to a civ getting lynched, without suspecting said civ, only wanting to save another civ. It is what it is. It would look bad on anyone not saying the magic words "I suspect this player slightly more and also want to save the player he's pitted against", so I'm reading it as looking bad for you. That's my whole point.DrWilgy wrote:Anyone willing to lynch JJJ today? I do not want Fuzz to be lynched at this point, and will save him if needed.
You talked and sussed Choutas all day.
You suggested JJJ as counterwagon to Fuzz.
You voted the actual counterwagon instead of Fuzz.
Tell me where the consistency in all of this lies.
Did my suspicion of JJJ ever fade between the time of Mac's defense, until stating last day phase that I no longer think he's the SK?
Did that need to be verbalized? During vote analysis you have stated that several votes seem out of orbit, or otherwise useless. I thought that it was implied by making a saving vote, I didn't want to make a wasteful one. Why? Because "saving" votes are impactful by nature.

I think my single voice of Sig may be civ, compared to the many, "I'm gut reading Fuzz as civ" should've sufficed. Simply put I wasn't going to let a lynch that seemed worse happen. Imma case my russ suspicions when I get home from twerk.

@Russ, it's all I can do. Why are you just questioning my cryptic info hinting when Rico made a statement like he did?

Yes, my 1 SK, 3-4 civ, 1-2 baddie fear is coming around.
We can only hope SK doesn't have 2 kills this phase.
I am extremely curious in Russ's thoughts.
Rico, I have slight inclination on your deductions, but you should know that Strawhenge, JJJ, and I may have had a similar way to come to those conclusions.

I suppose I'll just need to play a round or two on RYM. The push for lurker killing always hits a boiling climax near LYLO regardless of thier lurking factors.Diiny wrote:Don't assert that I don't play to win. WHAT YOU SAYIN' BOUT RYM, FAM?
We infodump and we lynch lurkers too sometimes. But lurking is only just another activity that a person can do, and should be taken into account alongside all the evidence. It does not make someone an instalynch.

Re: [DAY 12] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
I suppose this is just a difference in how we play then. Fuzz and I seemed to both understand the concept of lynch wallflowers, and it's something we do frequently on our home site. I suppose it derives from the hardcore RAH! RAH! play to win environment we come from. Players will attempt to break the game and/or do anything else in their power to statistically increase their chances of winning.

I don't think I stated that the death of a wallflower nullifies a mislynch. What I did state that it does is help prevent mislynches at a much more crucial juncture.Diiny wrote:Depends how scummy I think each player is. Depends in what context the non-player stopped playing, how gradually, etc. If that makes him moer scummy that lightly scummy, he gets the vote. If not, yadda yadda. Good example of how lynching a non player doesn't nullify a mislynch, though: mislynching him still loses the game.DrWilgy wrote:Hmm... Do tell, what do you do if you are stuck in a LYLO situation with a player who is playing who seems slightly scummy by thier play, but not enough to lynch them in a non LYLO situation, and a player who isn't playing at all?

Re: [DAY 12] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
I'm not sure what I can say, I wasn't here and the majority of intel that I could gain in my glances in the thread are that Bullzeye gave up. Giving up as both mafia or townie on what may have been the day before LYLO needs to be lynched, if a scum hard read isn't going to be lynched.Diiny wrote:I would kill someone I thought was scum (x) over someone not playing (y) if I believed the x was scummier than y. The point is that the way bullzeye was not playing made him scummy- you didn't touch on that and instead, like fuzz, started justifying his mislynch with some weird logic that seems to think that a player not playing advances the mafia win condition.@Diiny, what? Are you saying that in a situation, where you don't have the chance to lynch a player that you have a clear baddie lynch on, you would rather kill a player who you are less sure of rather than a not playing person? You would take the chance on someone you don't have full and decisive opinions about and possibly mislynch them? when there is someone else who's life makes the chance for a civ victory harder just by being alive?

ACEO things that I won't go into full detail about, it gives me hunches and beliefs but that info is top secret.
Linki: Emotion is there yes, it's kinda frustrating feeling like you are on the edge of a loss on a game that I've spent so much time in. If I do get mislynched, it is my fault for not having the time to properly respond or play sadly. The thing is, I know I'm not bad, my death would result in 1 SK, 3-4 civs, and 1-2 mafia. Chances are the SK may kill 2 players again, so... by next day if I get lynched it's 1 SK, 1-4 civs, and 0-2 mafia... So... yeah, emotion is there.

Re: [DAY 12] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
How does it not make sense?Diiny wrote:This doesn't make sense. I said it then to fuzz and I'll say it now. Lynching someone who would lose you the game if he were town DOES NOT MEAN LYNCHING HIM IF HE'S TOWN FIXES ANYTHING. Excuse my capsDrWilgy wrote:Diiny wrote:I think Fuzz touched up on this earlier, but had Bullzeye been a civ and given up, there was a good chance we would've lost the game. So the mentality was to get rid of the flower before we were at a LYLO situation, making him an alright Lynch candidate.
You're basing a lot of your reads over something pretty trivial: SK placement. Townies are BOUND to be wrong about something so specific. Especially as relatively early into the game as epi's death. What about their accusations of epi struck you as bad rather than just townies making a mistake as townies are bound to do on such a tricky subject?
A non playing town at lylo increases your chances of losing IMMENSELY. If there's a chance to get rid of the player before that, it is absolutely necessary to do it. It's a civ's responsibility to not get mislynched yes? A wall flower won't accept or properly carry out that responsibility.
I don't think it's trivial. I had thought there was a good chance that some players would know who the SK is, and asked those players. Other players agreed with the confirmed baddie who turned out to be lying. It's solely because they agreed with Mac. I pointed this out with Russ as soon as he did it, but decided not to follow it up because "townies making a mistake as townies" but Russ is still alive, along with MM. Both of which stated that Epi had a good chance to be SK. Do I think they are all baddies together? not really, I can't see a team of 3 baddies all stating that one person is the SK. Could one of those teammates agree with Mac? Honestly I would say most likely.
Oh geez, time is so short... If we lose because of Mac setting me up, and time not being on my side, I think my salt will overflow. Based on my actions alone, would you Lynch me Diiny? Motel Room? JJJ has stated that most of everything comes from a confirmed baddie interacting with me. If I really were a baddie, would I have lynched Mac vs You that day? If I were bad, I would've just needed to move my vote off of Mac, hell I could've voted Bcornett again and you would've died, Mac would've been alive.
To those who are here, would you rather me try to scumhunt? or go through the wall of text and try to defend myself and answer those questions? I don't have time for both, I probably don't have time for 1 of the 2 to be completed.

There was a chance that I was going to be lynched, plus we don't know if drugs are still in play, I wanted to be safe rather than sorry.Diiny wrote:Wilgy, did you ever explain why you voted bully despite J being the scummiest of your reads?
I should explain my thoughts on Bullz being an OK lynch, vs the no preference I had previous. He had gone from a state of playing the game to a state of wall flowering and openly admitting he was not catching up. I think Fuzz touched up on this earlier, but had Bullzeye been a civ and given up, there was a good chance we would've lost the game. So the mentality was to get rid of the flower before we were at a LYLO situation, making him an alright Lynch candidate.
If you think I'm just parroting what Fuzz had to say, you can look at the GTH results from back when Roxy, BR, Splints, and Floyd were alive. I marked them all as bad, due to the need to pluck them before the situation was dangerous. I think I had the same opinion of Floyd when his lynch came around, pursue those that I think are bad, lynching a wallflower is alright though.
I'm unsure if Fuzz was town anymore, I'm second guessing it due to his calling of JJJ SK being false, and need to relook him.
My GTH read of Russ and MM come from their claiming of Epi as the SK... They all agreed on epi, even though I'm pretty sure Mac was the only one who had any idea of telling. I need to go back through and read them both. Now... back to the wall of posts I need to sort back through... Maybe after I read up on the current MM cases.

Re: [DAY 11] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)
So I lied, I checked front page on my phone :P In regards to the sloppiness (failed NK), it was reference to the Fuzz mafia spew, and an example of perspective. Equus, see it's the vague criticism that shows a lack of pursuit. The point is, getting into a baddies head and understanding the game from thier angle is hard... I can try my best to read things from a mafia spew, but using them as a source of information is difficult because we could read them backwards.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:I'm sorry Doc but I don't follow what you're saying here. What does the failed kill have to do with this discussion? What does Mac's potential leadership have to do with it? What was the already-present evidence of mafia sloppiness?DrWilgy wrote:So... I appreciate that you are at least trying to look at both sides of the coin, but it seems that you are discrediting other possibilities. In the Fuzz mafia spew, you had stated that it'd be really sloppy for a teammate to interact with one another in a fashion between them, even though evidence of sloppiness was already present.
Sure, Mac likes to fling shit. He went into chaos mode and flung plenty of it. To this point, we've successfully read into some of it. When do you assert he flung shit specifically with regards to you? Just when he was critical of you? That doesn't inspire me. I'm not going to ask you to tell me what Mac was thinking or defend yourself in light of his contributions -- but they're still relevant to my read on you.DrWilgy wrote:You managed to discredit that sloppiness and you placed Fuzz in an area of not being a teammate with Mac. In Mac's interactions with me, would it be stretching to assume that he was attempting to fling shit everywhere? It can be seen again in the interactions between Mac and Fuzz, Mac changing his mind on Fuzz, he's throwing shit. Do we clear Fuzz, because Mac did? or do we think this implicates him?
He did pursue them. He drew parallels between that incident and your own contributions and vaguely criticized you at various junctures of the game before [arguably] trying to get you lynched on Day 6. I don't quite understand the point you're trying to make here.DrWilgy wrote:In regards to your theory on the Equus incident reference, I have a problem with point #1 that you believe.
If Mac really wanted to claim credibility for connecting the two, wouldn't he pursue it more? Isn't the point of bussing, to make it believable? If I am Mac's teamate, and he wanted to take credit for the reference, wouldn't it be in his best interest to pursue those similarities? The other thing to keep in mind, is that a baddie can't soft clear anyone by going too hard on them. Had Mac hard pursued the similarities between the Equus incident and my charts, what would you think about them? would you think there was more or less credibility to them? From an outside perspective, I think it would've put me in the green on his flip, so rather pursue something that may end up being dangerous later, Mac flung some shit and ran.
There might not be a tomorrow. I frankly don't even want to see you defend yourself all day anyway, I want to see some READS. I have no idea what you think of anyone in this tally aside from calling me the SK. You have to do better than that.DrWilgy wrote:I'll continue tomorrow after work.. I got busy and it got late D: I plan on reviewing all of these pages and commenting on things regarding me in the order that I see them, regardless of what else comes to follow.
I will try to get some reads in before times up, I don't think you are SK anymore though. I may have missed it, but did Diiny explain why he voted me over Bullzeye? Also, how many baddies do we think are left? I think 1 remains.

Going through now and going to hopefully hit everything, I will not finish tonight due to work, but I'll do what I can.
Let me start with the first spew:
In regards to your theory on the Equus incident reference, I have a problem with point #1 that you believe.
If Mac really wanted to claim credibility for connecting the two, wouldn't he pursue it more? Isn't the point of bussing, to make it believable? Let me start with the first spew:
So... I appreciate that you are at least trying to look at both sides of the coin, but it seems that you are discrediting other possibilities. - GTH reads him bad on Day 3, never mentioned him prior
Demands that Choutas expand on his town read of DrWilgy and Matt F. This is Mac's first mention of Doc in the game other than that GTH read, so it's noteworthy that he thinks this is such a significant point to address.Spoiler: show
Mac totally discredited DrWilgy's first voting chart from the LC lynch by repeatedly comparing it to a moment in RYM Mafia legend (the Equus Incident of RYM #35 in which she produced a big flow chart of possible endgame scenarios and convinced town to do her bidding as mafia). This isn't the first time Mac has seen a quantitative examination portrayed in a chart or graph in a mafia game, so it's probably significant that he saw fit to hate on DrWilgy's production so much. I think it is likely to mean one of three things:Spoiler: show
1. Mac already knows DrWilgy is his team mate and he can thus validly draw the comparison to the Equus Incident and perhaps claim significant credibility later in the event of a DrWilgy lynch/flip
2. Mac feels threatened by Doc's work and pressed hard against it to lessen the danger it poses to his team coming from a genuine source (a town Doc).
3. Mac just sees an opportunity to give someone shit and gives them shit because that's what Mac does.
Here is a link to Mac drawing the comparison, and a visual on DrWilgy's original post.
I don't think it's #2. You can see in Doc's analysis that the three names he implicated as looking the "worst" were Golden, bea, and me. All three of those names are townies, and y'all can at least be sure of two of them. Mac has no reason to feel threatened by an analysis that points town in the wrong direction. #3 is possible enough, but it seems strategically pointless. Mac was pushing suspicion on Doc for much of the game, but it started at this point when Doc was just highly unlikely to be lynched -- especially when he received so much praise for producing this analysis in the first place.
So my thoughts do linger for a long while on #1. It's not hard to view this as preliminary distancing to set the table for bigger moves later -- and we'll see how that develops as I continue.

- Scumlist on Day 6 includes Doc
Mac tries to work up a DrWilgy counterwagon to his own -- or at least he provides the appearance that he's trying to do that (DrWilgy was never in real danger of being lynched on Day 6 -- he finished with only 1 vote on him).Spoiler: show
It was true about Mac. Shall we believe him at face value here?Spoiler: show
My favorite post in Mac's ISO if DrWilgy is mafia. Diiny was the odds-on counterwagon, and Mac "pushed" for Doc instead. This just looks completely bogus to me. Mac knew all along that Doc wasn't getting lynched, and with that in mind he had no reason to give a shit who got lynched in his place unless one of the following two things is true:Spoiler: show
1. Diiny is mafia and Mac wanted to protect him.
2. DrWilgy is mafia and Mac wanted to create distance from him, maintaining the stance he'd espoused for much of the game.
I have my doubts about #1. If Mac wanted to specifically protect Diiny in this scenario, then he probably could have picked a more viable counterwagon to press than DrWilgy (it had no traction at all aside from RadicalFuzz). Moreover, we can project this move long-term in the event that it succeeds: we would suppose that Diiny is mafia and Doc is town: Mac successfully generates the Doc counterwagon to save himself at the cost of a townie -- and then everyone is even more suspicious of him than before. He gets lynched promptly, and that post right there is left sitting there waiting for everyone to pitchfork Diiny right after him. It's not just WIFOM, it's stupid.
#2 seems much more reasonable. DrWilgy wasn't getting lynched no matter how hard Mac pretended to push it. He had one supporter in this cause (Fuzz) while the Diiny and Mac wagons were all moving north of the 5-vote plateau. This reads to me like another attempt by Mac to play WIFOM, but it's more transparent than most of his other WIFOM. He wants Diiny to look bad here, but I think it's Doc that looks bad.
This is another potentially contentious point. I want to hear your thoughts everyone. Please don't leave me hanging.

Break out the tinfoil, I think we have a new big time suspect! Some of this demands I reach deeper into the realm of theory than I normally do, but at this point it's clear someone has played well enough to demand that kind of investigation anyway. I think this looks bad.
Please give me your feedback everyone.
In regards to your theory on the Equus incident reference, I have a problem with point #1 that you believe.
If Mac really wanted to claim credibility for connecting the two, wouldn't he pursue it more? Isn't the point of bussing, to make it believable? If I am Mac's teamate, and he wanted to take credit for the reference, wouldn't it be in his best interest to pursue those similarities? I stated that when I was pretty sure Mac was scum, but hadn't flipped yet. I didn't want to call JJJ a teammate pre flip, but his defense of Mac had me put him on my baddie dar.
The thing is, I don't think he is Mafia. I think he's SK. I haven't had the time to look a current relationships, or judge who the remaining baddies are.

SK, based upon Fuzz's answer and your interactions with an unresponsive SK. Also, the "I'm not focused on SK" banter from earlier. The whole "information" not stemming from my role also makes me believe you are SK. I thought I had caught SK with my info based play, but you had stated that you didn't understand it, until now. I think that you being the other ACEO should understand it more so than Matt F and Fuzz, and they seemed to understand what I was doing.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:I don't demand a big post. Linki: Rico, I'm sharing as much as I can. I still believe that you had some influence on last night's actions. Just a hunch though. I think if anyone can clear someone as not being the SK it's you.
Ok... G2g now. I will still be reading.

Guys!! I'm busy. I'm trying my best to stay upto date, but I don't have time for a mega post. I'm going to the gun range later and may be able to afterwards.
The biggest thing that I think is relevant to the points of view that see me as baddie. Do y'all see me as a baddie based more so upon my actions, or do you see them based upon the more so actions of confirmed baddies?
If y'all are willing to lynch me based upon actions of baddies, then I see little hope for us.
