Dizzy cares not, and requires no explanation. Funnygurl seems more legit than suspect, despite the odd vote. M+7 is pretty suspect, but if he were a teammate, he could have tried to save Sloonei? Although tying it up again wouldn't be the most well-received move, it's better than a teammate dying, and why not bus instead of voting no one? I do think MP legit missed the deadline on that one, which is probably the largest factor in his vote staying there. Just being on the No Lynch option for that long is suspect though, looks like vulturous opportunism.

I never intended to No Lynch, my vote was there so I could intuitively see the results of the poll.

My take on Mac is that “I’m cleared town rahhhhhh” with shaky logic is something town try to pull off more than scum, though now that I think about it it doesn’t really have much ground. Not particularly worried at the moment cause he seems solvy.

As far as you, a slightly annoying vote count analysis and, I must say, sheeping the reads of Epi. Since we haven’t played before I have not much to go on, but my general early impression was you were interested in solving — same for M+ though.

I'm better at solving the game in my head than I am at explaining why I think what I do.

What sort of things do you look for and how do you develop your reads?

Tonal impurities, inconsistencies throughout a person's set of posts, reads whose justifications seem to fail inspection, potential team associations, meta if I have it.

A lot of the time I'm just looking for one post that seems odd and I'll build an entire case around it. When someone's wolfing, often one post they make gives them away entirely, and I can spend two+ rounds quoting that one post if I think it's strong enough reason to lynch them. If a post pings me, I'll ISO the player and see how many of their posts fit in the world where they're scum.

Where does nova's entrace fit in this structure?

It was Day 0 at that point. I was responding to a couple of people who expressed a lack of conviction at that point. I do not expect anyone to have things figured out at this stage, and I would not want them to pretend to either.

Not bad as in alignment-bad. But I think Day 0 is too early for people to feel as though they have strong reads, yeah. I’ve been getting a lot of responses in recent games to my early-game prods as if they‘re firm, fully developed reads, so this has been on my mind a bit.

It is my real answer. I'm not a very heavy day one player because I don't have a handle on who's bullshiting and who's not yet. I'm usually one of the lower posters in the early game. What I said was the actual way I feel and the reason I make my decisions. It's as real an answer as I can give you.

This could be an unfair observation. He’s in a new environment and we (I) in turn don’t know anything about him besides what he’s putting into this thread. Scirrus had great threadflow throughout d1, a consistent presence in discussion that didn't seem to have any wolfy motives at all. Uncertain about things at times, but never hedgy/fence sitting. Has solid reads/progressions throughout.

Soneji places Wilgy in Scirrus in his top tier of town reads. I appreciate the work he put into showing his reads, for the most part. But scirrus, a popular suspect and new player, got only these three sentences as a summary. This read feels like it's just slapped in there for the sake of existing, relative to all the others. @Soneji if you are around and able to, please talk some more about this read came to exist. Because right now I'm skeptical.

My take on Mac is that “I’m cleared town rahhhhhh” with shaky logic is something town try to pull off more than scum, though now that I think about it it doesn’t really have much ground. Not particularly worried at the moment cause he seems solvy.
